Attending the opening were Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders of provincial departments, agencies and mass organizations; companies, enterprises, cooperatives, tourism organizations and associations; as well as a large number of visitors and local residents.

La Bang is a land rich in historical and cultural traditions, holding a position of special strategic importance as a revolutionary landmark, the site where the first base of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee was established. La Bang is also renowned as the land with one of the "five great teas" of Thai Nguyen Province and with its advantage in tea cultivation, it is a land of abundant tourism potential, nestled at the foot of the majestic Tam Dao mountain range, stretching more than 15 km, fed by two streams, Cua Tu and Suoi Kem. The commune possesses all the favorable conditions needed to develop distinctive tourism products that attract both domestic and international visitors.

La Bang draws visitors with its ecotourism offerings and community-based tourism models linked to tea region experiences. In recent years, La Bang commune has concentrated its leadership and direction on developing tourism in a sustainable manner, integrating the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values, particularly through enhancing the value of tea products. Numerous experiential and community-based tourism models have gradually taken shape, attracting an increasing number of visitors from within and beyond the province to visit and explore.

Through the 2026 Tourism Season opening program, La Bang commune hopes to continue promoting the image of its homeland, a tea land rich in cultural identity, to visitors from all over; while also creating opportunities for organizations, individuals, enterprises and residents to jointly participate in tourism development and contribute to advancing the local socio-economic landscape.

At the opening program, delegates, residents and visitors from near and far were treated to an arts performance featuring outstanding cultural acts themed "La Bang, Fragrance of tea spreads wide, welcoming the footsteps of visitors," with the participation of artist Trung Ruoi and a large ensemble of amateur performers from hamlets across the commune. The program brought a vibrant, festive and uplifting atmosphere to residents and visitors alike.
