Recently, the Department of Finance issued a notice inviting interested investors to implement the Yen Binh Concentrated Information Technology Park Project with a total investment of VND 3,500 billion.

With the objective of developing a synchronized technical and social infrastructure system in accordance with planning; improving land use efficiency; contributing to population and urban development to meet housing needs of residents; and promoting local socio-economic development, the Provincial People’s Committee has issued a decision approving the investment policy for Ky Phu Residential Area No. 3 Project (Ky Phu Central Area).

On the morning of May 17, the People's Committee of Phu Binh district, in coordination with Phu Binh Investment Construction Infrastructure Joint Stock Company, organized the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Luong Phu - Tan Duc Industrial Cluster and Tan Duc Industrial Cluster Projects. The Groundbreaking Ceremony was attended by comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee along with leaders from various provincial departments and sectors.

Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee has just issued a Decision on approving the investment policy and investor for Tan Phu 2 Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Construction and Business Project in Pho Yen City. The investor is Saigon Telecommunication & Technologies Corporation.

The 38-storey mixed-use residential and commercial twin tower project (BV Diamond Hill) located on Bac Son Street, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Thai Nguyen City is being developed by BV Land Joint Stock Company (a member of Bach Viet Group). At present, the contractor is mobilizing all resources to ensure the project is implemented with safety, quality and on-schedule progress.

On February 27, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 42/KH-UBND on the economic growth scenario for 2025 to organize implementation. However, the results achieved in the first quarter did not meet the growth targets outlined in the Plan and scenario. Given new international and domestic developments, the Provincial People's Committee has recently issued an Economic Growth Scenario Plan 2025 for Thai Nguyen province (adjusted in April 2025) as the basis for departments, sectors, units and localities to implement.

For the past years, the on-schedule completion of construction investment projects while ensuring quality has always been the top priority of Thai Nguyen Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board (referred to as Thai Nguyen Civil and Industrial PMB). With a high sense of responsibility, continuous efforts and scientific management strategy, Thai Nguyen Civil and Industrial PMB has made a significant impact through a series of key projects, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.

On the morning of March 14, leaders of KCTC Vietnam Co., Ltd. and a number of Korean enterprises visited Thai Nguyen Province to discuss investment opportunities in data centers. Receiving and working with the investors were Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee along with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

On March 14, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to consult experts on the implementation of Yen Binh Concentrated Information Technology (IT) Park Project. Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presided over the Conference. Attendees included Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from ministries, Central sectors and several provinces and cities; as well as local departments, sectors and localities within the province.

The Flamingo Majestic Island Resort, an international resort project developed by the Flamingo Group, is set to break ground in Thai Nguyen. The Flamingo Majestic Island Resort is expected to be a breakthrough for the local tourism industry, not only elevating Nui Coc Lake into a premier regional destination but also positioning Thai Nguyen on the map of high-end tourism, attracting both domestic and international visitors.

Thai Nguyen, February 27, 2025, Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT) - the owner of Vietnam’s largest tungsten mine, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Australian Embassy, led by Ms. Cecilia Brennan, Acting Deputy Head of Mission. The delegation also included top Australian economists and geologists, as well as leading industry consultants. This visit provided an opportunity for MHT to showcase its tungsten manufacturing facilities and sustainable mining practices while strengthening partnership with Australian mining businesses.

Bao Ly - Xuan Phuong Industrial Cluster (IC) in Phu Binh District is one of the 27 industrial clusters that have been and are being developed in the province. It covers an industrial land area of 19.79 hectares, with a total implemented investment capital of over VND 305 billion. The project is invested by Viet Cuong Construction Concrete Company Limited.

Recently, Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee has issued a document on publicizing the area not yet leased or subleased in Song Cong I Industrial Park as of December 31, 2024.

This afternoon (February 13), Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presided over the 40th Session of the Provincial People's Committee for 2021-2026 term to evaluate the socio-economic situation in January and discuss key tasks for February as well as provide feedback on several proposals to be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council.

Continuing the working program of Thai Nguyen province delegation in South Korea, on November 27, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung led the delegation to visit and work with the Korea Testing & Research Institute regarding the implementation of green transformation and carbon finance projects aimed at developing a green Thai Nguyen. The working session was attended by comrade Pham Thai Hanh, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; comrade Pham Van Tho, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission; and leadership representatives of a number of departments, branches and enterprises of Thai Nguyen province.

On the morning of November 15, comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the road section connecting Ring Road V to Hoa Son Bridge, part of the Regional Connection Road Project linking Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc provinces (referred to as the Regional Connection Road Project). Accompanying him was comrade Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

This is the directive from Comrade Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung during the working session with leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Comrade Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, also attended the meeting.

On the morning of October 30, in Phu Luong district, the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized a conference to review the two-year implementation results of civilized urban construction and outline tasks for 2024-2025 period. The Conference was attended by leaders from the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Association of Architects and People's Committee of Phu Luong district.
