The Working Delegation conducted a practical survey at the locations of Bac Son intersection (area of Phan Dinh Phung ward and Quyet Thang ward) and Tan Long intersection (Quan Trieu ward).

At Bac Son intersection, the consulting unit proposed a traffic organization plan towards simple construction, keeping the existing intersection form unchanged, not affecting residential planning and simultaneously creating favorable conditions for construction. In addition, there is a plan to build an intersection to help make movement directions clear, convenient for the People and serve tourism development in the Nui Coc lake area.

The consulting unit proposing organization plans for Tan Long intersection towards reducing traffic congestion compared to the existing intersection

For Tan Long intersection, the proposed plans aim at connecting National Highway 3 and National Highway 1B with the provincial center through the existing Tan Long intersection into the expressway closer, while taking advantage of the existing Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi route. Besides, there is a plan to build an intersection accessing the expressway via Ring Road 1, contributing to significantly minimizing traffic congestion; creating space to expand the provincial center and reducing compensation and site clearance costs.

After listening to the reports of related units on traffic organization plans, advantages, difficulties, site clearance scale, total investment and related contents, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan required that specialized agencies must continue to research carefully and evaluate impacts specifically; and simultaneously accurately forecast the trend of increasing vehicles and travel needs to select the optimal plan for the two intersections. The plans must ensure synchronous infrastructure, suit the planning, contribute to expanding urban development space and simultaneously ensure aesthetics and create convenience for people participating in traffic. The province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with units of the Ministry of Construction to complete the plan and prepare full legal conditions. Related localities must accelerate compensation and site clearance work, striving to commence the Project on the occasion of Uncle Ho's Birthday anniversary, May 19, 2026.
