Strengthening inspection and supervision of the petroleum and liquefied petroleum gas market
In response to increasingly complex fluctuations in petroleum prices on the market, the Provincial Market Management Sub-Department has simultaneously deployed a range of measures to intensify the inspection and supervision of petroleum trading activities, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and essential commodities throughout the province.

Accordingly, the market management force has focused closely on monitoring supply-demand dynamics, petroleum and LPG retail prices and selected commodities such as construction materials. Inspection activities are conducted on a regular basis to promptly detect and prevent violations such as speculation, stockpiling, unjustified price increases, trading in goods of unknown origin, or fraudulent practices involving quality and quantity.
The Market Management Teams have intensified their review of the entire network of petroleum retail outlets in the province, monitoring procurement, inventory levels and supply frequency. Proactive direct engagement with enterprises, key traders and distributors has also been maintained to update supply plans and ensure stable supply without disruption.

Alongside inspection activities, the competent authorities have intensified legal dissemination and organized compliance commitments with business establishments, emphasizing requirements to refrain from stockpiling, avoid rationing sales and refrain from unauthorized price increases, while strictly implementing posted price displays and selling at the posted prices.
Information gathering from the grassroots level has also been prioritized. Relevant units have established public feedback channels to handle emerging situations in a timely manner, contributing to improved management effectiveness and market transparency.
From March 4 to March 25, the province conducted 2,327 rounds of supervision for petroleum products and 221 rounds for LPG. Results showed that business activities in the province were generally stable, supply was ensured and no violations were detected.

In the coming time, the Provincial Market Management Sub-Department will continue to closely monitor market developments and proactively coordinate with competent authorities to strengthen inspection and supervision of petroleum trading and essential commodities. Violations, should they arise, will be detected and handled promptly and strictly. In addition, dissemination efforts will continue to be intensified, requiring petroleum enterprises and retail outlets to strictly comply with regulations on business conditions, price posting and selling at posted prices. These efforts will contribute to market stabilization, protection of consumer rights and energy security assurance throughout the province.
