Revenue of cooperatives increases by an average of 30% per year
In recent years, the collective economy sector of Thai Nguyen province has recorded positive developments. Both the number and quality of cooperatives have continued to increase, with more diversified industries and fields of operation. Cooperatives are becoming better adapted to market mechanisms, affirming their role and position in the economy and gradually improving the living standards of their members.

Agricultural cooperatives account for nearly 90% of all cooperatives in the province
The whole province currently has over 1,300 cooperatives with more than 46,000 members, of which agricultural cooperatives account for nearly 90%, with an average income per member reaching VND 5 - 7 million/person/month. In 2025, the province had 65 newly established cooperatives. In recent years, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance has promoted support for digital transformation for the collective economy sector through more than 40 training courses and workshops with contents focusing on management skills, sales, digital marketing, e-commerce, livestreaming, brand building and AI application. Simultaneously, coordinating with the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, TikTok Vietnam, technology enterprises and international organizations to support listing 400 stalls of cooperatives on e-commerce platforms such as TikTok, Alibaba, Postmart, Voso, Vcamart... contributing to the consumption of over 220 tons of tea, vermicelli and various agricultural products. Additionally, cooperatives were also supported in building over 100 websites; sales management and warehouse management software; tens of thousands of traceability stamps annually; and livestreams - online market sessions promoting characteristic agricultural products...

Cooperatives actively applying digital transformation in agricultural product consumption
The operation of cooperatives in the province has created jobs and brought stable income for a portion of rural workers, contributing positively to local socio-economic development. According to the assessment of the agricultural sector, the bold application of science and technology and digital transformation in production and business has contributed significantly to improving product quality. Online revenue of cooperatives also increased by an average of 30% annually. The application of science, technology and digital transformation from production activities, goods distribution, to payment and settlement... has contributed to reducing costs, increasing competitiveness, determining efficiency and the development of cooperatives, improving income for people in rural areas and moving towards modern, sustainable production.
