Accelerating progress of relocation zones to promptly stabilize people's livelihoods
On the morning of June 9, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, conducted an inspection of progress on relocation projects serving industrial development in Diem Thuy Commune and Ba Xuyen Ward. Accompanying him were leaders of the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, and local authorities.

The delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the Technical Infrastructure Project for the Relocation Zone and Workers' Housing of Diem Thuy Industrial Park in Diem Thuy Commune (180-hectare area) and the Relocation Zone Project of Song Cong II Industrial Park in Ba Xuyen Ward (construction of the Ba Xuyen relocation zone and workers' housing).
The Technical Infrastructure Project for the Relocation Zone and Workers' Housing of Diem Thuy Industrial Park, with the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks as the investor, covers an area of over 15.9 hectares. The project aims to develop a comprehensive technical infrastructure system comprising roads, power supply, water supply and drainage, telecommunications, greenery, and land grading to serve relocation and workers' housing needs. The investor is currently requesting the Provincial People's Committee to consider and adjust the project for continued implementation in accordance with regulations.
The Relocation Zone Project of Song Cong II Industrial Park
The Relocation Zone Project of Song Cong II Industrial Park in Ba Xuyen Ward covers an area of 14.8 hectares, aiming to complete the technical infrastructure for resettling households whose land has been acquired for the Song Cong II Industrial Park, contributing to developing the area's infrastructure and creating conditions to drive local socioeconomic development.
The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is currently coordinating with local authorities to carry out asset inventories, compensation, and site clearance; a decision to acquire 7.3 hectares has been issued. Local authorities are focusing on resolving difficulties and obstacles, proactively coordinating with higher-level agencies and the investor to finalize compensation, support, and resettlement plans; and addressing outstanding issues while ensuring citizens' lawful rights and interests and compliance with legal regulations.

Following the on-site inspection, Comrade Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong emphasized that the investment in and construction of relocation zones is of significant importance in the process of developing industrial parks and clusters in the province. He directed investors, consulting units, and contractors to concentrate manpower and equipment and accelerate construction progress at the relocation zones so that land can be handed over promptly and the livelihoods of affected residents in the project area stabilized; at the same time, relevant departments and sectors should closely coordinate with local authorities in providing guidance and resolving petitions and proposals in accordance with legal regulations, and compile reports for the Provincial People's Committee to review and decide.
