A notable bright spot is that the domestic economic sector continued to make strong breakthroughs in exports. In July, total export value reached more than USD 3,342 million, up 1.7% month-on-month and up 24.1% year-on-year. Notably, the domestic economic sector reached more than USD 167 million, up as much as 147% year-on-year, showing that enterprises in the province are increasingly improving their production and processing capacity and their ability to access international markets. Meanwhile, the foreign-invested sector continued to play the leading role, with turnover reaching more than USD 3,175 million, accounting for 95% of total export value.
Many product groups recorded high growth, such as: paper and paper products up nearly 193%; garment products up more than 47%; transport spare parts up 34.5%; and in particular, the group of phones, tablets, and other electronics reached more than USD 3.08 billion, up 19.7% year-on-year, continuing to be the main driver contributing to the province's export growth.

On the other hand, imports of raw materials for production also increased sharply, reflecting enterprises' demand to expand production. Total import value in July is estimated at nearly USD 2,694 million, up 53.8% year-on-year. Of this, the domestic economic sector reached USD 118.2 million, which, although slightly lower than the previous month, was up more than 157% year-on-year; the foreign-invested sector reached more than USD 2,575 million, up 51%.
Notably, many groups of materials and equipment for production recorded very high increases, such as: iron and steel products up 183.8%; plastics and materials up 182.5%; machinery, equipment, and spare parts 2.8 times higher than the same period; and electronic materials and components reaching USD 2,531.1 million, up 51.6%. This shows that enterprises are actively supplementing materials and equipment to meet orders and expand production scale in the coming time.

In addition, the trade and services sector continued to maintain positive growth momentum. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in July is estimated at more than VND 9,984 billion, up 24.2% year-on-year. Although slightly lower than the previous month, market purchasing power was still maintained thanks to abundant supply of goods, basically stable prices, and the effective implementation of many trade promotion and consumption stimulus programs.
Regarding prices, the consumer price index (CPI) in July rose 4.51% year-on-year; the average for the first seven months of the year rose 5.74%, reflecting price movements in the context of production, business, and consumption activities continuing to recover and develop.
