Representing the 5 central press agencies at the Conference were Comrades: Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Party Committee’s Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Party Committee’s Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission, Director General of the Voice of Vietnam; Duong Trung Y, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Review; and leaders of other central press agencies.

Representing Thai Nguyen Province were Comrades: Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee. Also in attendance were members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Provincial People’s Committee; and representatives of departments and agencies.

For the past time, coordination between Thai Nguyen Province and the central press agencies has been carried out closely and effectively, contributing to the timely dissemination of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, while promoting the image of the land, its people, and the province’s potential, advantages, and outstanding achievements across various fields.

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that the 2026–2030 period is of great significance to Thai Nguyen’s development following the merger, opening up new development space with abundant potential and advantages. He affirmed that the province’s outstanding achievements for the past time owe much to the active partnership and support of the central press agencies in information dissemination, communication, and local image promotion.

He noted that in the coming time, Thai Nguyen will focus on achieving high growth targets and developing high-tech industry, the digital economy, services, tourism, and strategic infrastructure. In this process, the press plays a vital role in spreading the aspiration for development, promoting the province's potential and advantages, attracting investment, and building public trust. He expressed the hope that the central press agencies will continue to accompany the province in communicating about Party building and political system development; socio-economic development, digital transformation, culture, tourism, and the province's major development orientations, contributing to elevating Thai Nguyen's position and image in the new era. He also affirmed that the signing of cooperation programs with the 5 central press agencies marks an important milestone, further consolidating the close and collaborative relationship between the province and the press agencies in fulfilling their political mission.

On behalf of the central press agencies, Comrade Le Quoc Minh commended Thai Nguyen’s socio-economic development achievements for the past time and affirmed continued partnership with the province in information and communication work. The press agencies pledged to leverage the strengths of each type of media to step up promotion of the province’s potential, advantages, strategic development orientations, new models, effective approaches, and outstanding achievements, thereby spreading the image of a dynamic, innovative Thai Nguyen rich in cultural identity to a wide readership, viewership, and listenership both at home and abroad.

Under the Media Cooperation Program for the 2026–2030 period, the parties will strengthen coordination in communicating about Party building and political system development; socio-economic development; investment promotion; digital transformation; administrative reform; cultural and tourism promotion; and the province's distinctive values. They will also step up cooperation in professional training and development, press digital transformation, multi-platform content production, and information and data sharing for communication purposes.

Prior to the event, the Thai Nguyen Province delegation and leaders of central news agencies and press organizations offered incense and visited the National Historical Site of the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School, commemorating the 101-year tradition of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press and paying tribute to generations of revolutionary journalists who contributed greatly to the cause of national struggle, construction, and defense.
