Athletes Nguyen Hong Thai and Le Thi Lan Anh, together with teammates, receive the Gold Medal in the C4-500 m event

Of the total, athletes Nguyen Hong Thai and Le Thi Lan Anh stood out in the U23 age group with 3 medals: 1 GM in the C4-500 m event, 1 SM in the C2-500 m event and 1 BM in the C2-200 m event. Athlete Vu Thi Ngoc Uyen won 2 medals in the U18 age group: a SM in the C4-500 m event and a BM in the C2-500 m event.

This year's U18–U23 Asian Canoeing Championships brought together approximately 350 athletes from 17 Asian countries and territories. At the close of the tournament, the Vietnam National Team won 14 medals in total: 4 GMs, 3 SMs and 7 BMs.

Thai Nguyen athletes' contribution of 5 medals to the national team continues to affirm the quality of the province's youth athlete development program, while also demonstrating the solid growth of canoeing in recent years. This is also an important springboard for the athletes to continue competing at major regional and international arenas.
