Currently, the whole province has 154,144 people with meritorious services to the revolution enjoying preferential policies of the State. In 2024, the total support funding for people with meritorious services to the revolution was over VND 70 billion. Besides, functional agencies continue to manage, exploit and monitor records of meritorious people through the digital system on specialized software; implementing monthly allowance payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

During the year, 126 decisions were issued to resolve regimes and policies for meritorious people; 321 decisions on funeral allowances according to decisions of the Prime Minister, with a total funding of VND 12.3 billion. Simultaneously, re-issuing certificates for resistance activists infected with toxic chemicals, war invalids, sick soldiers and martyr families for 76 cases; proposing the Department of National Devotees to re-issue the Certificate “The Fatherland Remembers the Merit” for 12 cases and proposing to issue the Certificate “The Fatherland Remembers the Merit” for martyr Phan Van Thanh. The work of backing up and archiving records of meritorious people was carried out seriously, with 350 records completed according to regulations.

In addition,  functional agencies organized training classes on work for people with meritorious services to the revolution at communes and wards, attracting the participation of more than 900 delegates; guiding the management and use of the commune-level Fund for People with Meritorious Services and actively mobilizing the construction of the Fund for People with Meritorious Services in 2025.

The effective implementation of preferential policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution not only demonstrates the responsibility of all levels and sectors but also contributes to consolidating the People's trust in the Party and State, thereby continuing to spread deeply the morality “When drinking water, remember its source”, arousing the tradition of gratitude and affection, creating a solid foundation for social stability and sustainable development of the locality.
