2026 - 2027 National First Division opens in Thai Nguyen

On the afternoon of September 13, the opening ceremony for the 2026 - 2027 National First Division was held at Thai Nguyen Stadium, officially beginning the new season. This is the first time Thai Nguyen Football Club (Thai Nguyen FC) has competed in the National First Division, marking a new stage for men’s football in Thai Nguyen Province.

Thai Nguyen strives to be among the top 5 leading localities in administrative reform in 2026

On the afternoon of August 12, the Provincial People's Committee held an in-person and online conference to deploy administrative reform tasks for the remaining months of 2026; to review the “100 Days of Digitization, Data Cleansing, and Data Standardization” Campaign; and to review 180 days of implementing land registration, cadastral records preparation, and completion of the land database in Thai Nguyen province. Attending the conference were: Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of provincial-level departments, boards, sectors, associations, and units.
