Ensuring quality of vocational training models for workers in ethnic minority areas
On December 3, the Inspection Delegation of Thai Nguyen Department of Education and Training met at Dai Tu Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center to evaluate the organization of vocational training models for workers in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025.

According to the report, in 2025, the Center deployed 2 vocational training models on “Eco-tourism” at primary level in Quan Chu and La Bang communes, with a total of 60 trainees being ethnic minority workers. Classes were opened from September to December 2025, meeting vocational learning needs associated with local community tourism development.

Planning, enrollment and training organization were carried out by the Center in accordance with regulations. Curricula, textbooks and teaching plans were issued in accordance with regulations; records, books and training management forms were updated and fully archived. The teaching staff consists of 4 people, of which 3 teachers hold master's degrees, ensuring expertise and experience. Facilities serving theoretical learning were met.

Testing, evaluation and certification were carried out by the Center in accordance with regulations; however, classes have not yet finished so graduation consideration has not been organized. After the course, trainees have the ability to create self-employment locally, contributing to promoting the eco-tourism potential of ethnic minority areas.

At the working session, the Center proposed the Department of Education and Training to continue allocating funds for subsequent years and support investment in training equipment, especially for eco-tourism and food processing techniques.

The Inspection Delegation acknowledged that the Center was proactive in organizing training models, implementing the correct program and regulations; highly appreciated the learning spirit of trainees and the coordination of the locality in supporting practice conditions. The Team also requested the unit to continue closely monitoring the training process, ensuring graduation consideration, certification and settlement of support funds in accordance with regulations.
