Thai Nguyen province delegation offers incense in tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri Province
On February 5 (the 18th day of the twelfth month of At Ty lunar year), in the atmosphere of celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring and preparing to welcome Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Thai Nguyen province delegation came to offer flowers and incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Historical Site and General Secretary Le Duan Memorial Site in Trieu Thanh Commune, Quang Tri province.

The delegation was led by Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Participating in the Delegation were Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of several provincial departments, boards and branches.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, on behalf of the Party Committee, administration and People of ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province, the Delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense and spent a minute of silence, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the People.

Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,000 martyrs who fought and sacrificed on the Truong Son trail - the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail. Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,800 martyrs who fought and sacrificed on the Road 9 - Southern Laos front and the Quang Tri battlefield. The Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Historical Site is associated with the heroic 81-day-and-night battle in the summer of 1972, becoming a symbol of revolutionary heroism and the indomitable spirit of our army and people.

Among the martyrs resting here, there are many children of Thai Nguyen homeland who heroically fought and sacrificed on the Tri - Thien battlefield and in major campaigns of the resistance war against the US to save the country. Before the spirits of Heroic martyrs, Thai Nguyen province delegation vowed to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, uniting and making efforts to build the province to be increasingly developed, contributing together with the whole country to successfully implement socio-economic development goals and ensure national defense - security in the new period.

The Delegation paying tribute to Heroic martyrs at the Dong Loc Junction Special National Historical Site (Ha Tinh province)
Previously, on February 4, Thai Nguyen province delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate Heroic martyrs at the Dong Loc Junction Special National Historical Site (Ha Tinh province) and offer incense in memory of General Vo Nguyen Giap at his Grave Site in Vung Chua - Dao Yen (Quang Binh province), expressing deep gratitude for the great merits of the General and heroic martyrs to the nation's revolutionary cause.
