Organizing Thai Nguyen Tourism Beautiful Photo Contest 2026
In order to seek and select high-quality photographic works as source materials for tourism promotion and marketing activities, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen is organizing the “Thai Nguyen Tourism Beautiful Photo Contest 2026”.

Entries must be photographs taken in Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan (before and after the provincial merger) during the period from January 1, 2024 to the closing date for submissions (expected on August 30, 2026). The submission period is expected to run from August 1, 2026 to August 30, 2026.
The content of the entries should authentically reflect new perspectives through the lens of tourism, featuring natural landscapes, historical relics, scenic spots, destinations, traditional craft villages, festivals and cultural, sports and tourism events; the daily life and cultural activities of ethnic communities; customs, practices, folk culture and culinary culture; as well as images of tourists exploring and experiencing local tourism products and indigenous culture.

Contest entries must be created using realistic methods and must not be photo-manipulated in a way that distorts the content. Authors may crop and adjust brightness or contrast but must not erase or alter details in the images. Submitted works must be single, color photographs with a minimum size of 15 cm x 21 cm, accompanied by a JPG file with a resolution of at least 300 pixels and a minimum file size of 3MB. There is no limit on the number of entries per author.

Following the merger, Thai Nguyen province has expanded its tourism development space with abundant natural and cultural resources. The province currently has 714 recognized historical, cultural and scenic relic sites, along with 45 nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage elements. The organization of the contest contributes to promoting the image of Thai Nguyen’s land and people, fostering local pride and creating additional materials to support the province’s tourism development in the coming time.
