Attending the Program were Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of the leadership of the Provincial People’s Council and the Provincial People’s Committee; the leadership of provincial departments and agencies; representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association, the Vietnam Green Transition Association, the Provincial Business Association, the Provincial Tourism Association, Thai Nguyen Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Provincial Tea Association; as well as a large number of enterprises, cooperatives, experts and investors from within and outside the province.

Speaking at the Program, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan welcomed and expressed appreciation for the full attendance and the interest of the business community in the “Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs” Program, particularly the theme of green agriculture linked to tourism development. He emphasized: Alongside industrial development, Thai Nguyen Province has identified green agriculture and tourism development as two important pillars for laying the foundation of sustainable growth and enhancing local economic value.

He cited a number of successful tourism development models such as Phu Quoc and Ninh Binh (Vietnam) and Fujian Province (China), drawing parallels with Thai Nguyen’s own distinct potential and advantages. He affirmed that, alongside the orientation of modern industrial development, Thai Nguyen is working toward the goal of becoming a national tourism destination with international standing.

Briefing the business community, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee noted that Thai Nguyen is gradually positioning the brand “Paradise of Lake-on-the-Mountain Tourism”, leveraging the advantages of its natural landscape, tea culture and distinctive agricultural ecosystem. He expressed his appreciation for all ideas and initiatives from the business community and investors; and affirmed that Thai Nguyen is always ready to accompany and create favorable conditions to realize tourism development projects linked to green agriculture. He emphasized that the success of enterprises and investors is also the success of the province. As such, the province looks forward to continuing to receive breakthrough and creative ideas aimed at effectively exploiting the locality’s tourism and agricultural potential in the coming time.

Business community members actively posing questions to the authorities, contributing ideas and demonstrating readiness to join hands with local authorities in “positioning” Thai Nguyen Province’s tourism brand linked to green agriculture

At the Program, delegates exchanged views and contributed numerous solutions to promote the province’s tourism development, focusing on the following areas: investing in tourism products linked to the two distinctive strengths of “Lakes and Tea”; continuing to improve transport connectivity infrastructure; standardizing the quality of tea-growing regions; developing tourism in alignment with agricultural seasons; and implementing preferential policies on taxes, land and communications for enterprises investing in the tourism sector. In response to questions raised by the business community, the leadership of provincial departments and agencies engaged in direct, in-depth discussion of each specific issue directly at the Program, demonstrating their readiness to accompany enterprises in attracting investment and promoting tourism development linked to green agriculture.

Acknowledging and deeply appreciating the practical ideas and contributions of the business community on developing tourism linked to green agriculture in Thai Nguyen at the Program, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized the view that the growth of enterprises is the growth of Thai Nguyen Province; the entire provincial government system is always prepared to the fullest extent to accompany enterprises throughout the process of research, investment selection and investment implementation. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee expressed confidence that the sense of responsibility and determination of the authorities, together with the unity and commitment of the business community, will create a synergistic force to help Thai Nguyen successfully build the brand “Paradise of Lake-on-the-Mountain Tourism” and position Thai Nguyen as a national and internationally recognized destination in the shortest possible time.

The Program contributes to spreading the message of a dynamic, innovative Thai Nguyen that is ready to create every favorable condition to attract investment and develop green, sustainable tourism, gradually positioning Thai Nguyen as an attractive destination on the national and international tourism map.
