Visiting and presenting gifts during the 2026 Peak Week for Tet for the Poor – Leaving no one behind
Promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, with the determination to “leave no one behind”, on January 29, working delegations of the Provincial Party Committee - People’s Council - People’s Committee - Fatherland Front Committee continued to organize visits and present gifts to policy families, poor households and near-poor households on the occasion of the 2026 Peak Week for Tet for the Poor.

According to reports, Na Ri commune currently has 410 poor households and 244 near-poor households, with the livelihoods of part of the population still facing many difficulties. In order to promptly encourage and share with families in hardship, the delegation presented 60 gift sets with a total value of VND 72 million to poor and near-poor households and disadvantaged families in the area.

At the Program, the provincial Working Delegation presented 60 gift sets to poor households. Along with that, the Party Committee - People's Committee of Duc Luong Commune also presented 101 gift sets to poor and near-poor households in the area. The total value of gifts presented in this batch is nearly VND 150 million. Especially, to encourage the spirit of fondness for learning, Tan Thai Golf Joint Stock Company presented 50 bicycles to 50 good students with difficult circumstances. On this occasion, several enterprises, units and benefactors also directly supported the commune's Fund for the Poor.

Thuong Quan Commune is a remote, isolated locality of Thai Nguyen province, where people’s livelihoods remain difficult and the economy mainly relies on agricultural and forestry production. The commune has 13 villages, of which 9 villages are still specially difficult areas, mostly inhabited by ethnic minorities and the poverty rate remains high. On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Tran Thi Loc presented 60 gift sets to poor and near-poor households of the commune, each worth VND 1.2 million. This demonstrates the attention and care of the Party, State and authorities at all levels for households with difficult circumstances, contributing to helping families have more conditions to enjoy spring and welcome Tet. At the gift giving program, Comrade Tran Thi Loc sent inquiries and encouraged families to overcome difficulties, continue efforts in labor and production, rise to stabilize their lives and wished the people a joyful and warm traditional national Tet.

Quang Son Commune has 16 hamlets, of which 3/16 hamlets are specially difficult hamlets with 2,478 households; the rate of ethnic minorities accounts for 73%; the whole commune has 182 poor households (7.34%) and 107 near-poor households (4.32%). In 2025, social security work in the commune was paid attention to and deployed synchronously, promptly and for the right subjects, contributing to stabilizing the People's lives, especially during holidays and Tet.
At the Program, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Mai Thi Thuy Nga presented 60 gift sets to 60 poor households in the commune; each worth VND 1.2 million. These are practical gifts, sharing with poor and near-poor households as Tet arrives and spring comes; demonstrating the deep concern of Thai Nguyen Province Party Committee and administration in caring for the People's lives so that every home has Tet, everyone has Tet and no one is left behind.

He hoped families would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be exemplary in life, serve as a spiritual fulcrum and shining example for children, grandchildren and the community to follow, contributing to building an increasingly civilized, rich and beautiful homeland.

Phu Binh Commune currently has 772 people with meritorious services and relatives of meritorious people, 1,877 social protection beneficiaries receiving monthly allowances; there are still 157 poor households and 220 near-poor households in the area. Responding to the movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind”, the locality proactively built plans and mobilized the participation of agencies, units, organizations, enterprises and the People in caring for Tet for disadvantaged subjects. Next, the Working Delegation attended the “Peak Week for Tet for the Poor” gift giving program in Yen Binh Commune. Yen Binh Commune was established based on the merger of 3 communes: Binh Van, Yen Han and Yen Cu, with an area of over 100 km², consisting of 20 villages and a population of 6,976 people. This is a Region III commune, still facing many difficulties, with 13/20 villages being specially difficult; the whole commune currently has 547 poor and near-poor households, accounting for 35.65%. There are 67 people with meritorious services, 427 social protection beneficiaries and 84 households with particularly difficult circumstances in the commune. In recent times, social security work and caring for Tet for subjects have always been identified by the Party Committee and authorities of Yen Binh Commune as important political tasks, demonstrating local responsibility and the fine tradition of “mutual affection” in the community. At the Program, the Delegation presented 60 gift sets to poor households in the commune.
