Phan Dinh Phung Ward to organize flower and Tet markets from February 4 to 16
To meet the shopping and trading needs of local residents during Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, Phan Dinh Phung Ward will organize a flower market and Tet market from February 4 to 7:00 p.m. on February 16, 2026 (corresponding to the period from the 17th to the 29th day of the twelfth lunar month of At Ty Year).

Doi Can Street (Vo Nguyen Giap Square area) will arrange stalls selling peach blossom flowers

The flower and Tet markets will be arranged on a total area of more than 6,418 square meters, comprising 319 booths and stalls, along with one parking area to serve visitors and shoppers. The organization of the Tet market not only creates favorable conditions for business households but also contributes to enriching the festive spring atmosphere in the area.

According to the layout plan of the Organizing Committee, business sectors will be arranged by specific streets in a scientific and convenient manner to facilitate shopping. Specifically, Doi Can Street (the area around Vo Nguyen Giap Square) will host booths selling peach blossoms and fresh flowers arranged in vases and baskets. Hung Vuong Street (from the Provincial Cultural Center to the former Thai Nguyen Newspaper site) will focus on high-end flowers such as orchids, apricot blossoms and cymbidium orchids.

Also along Hung Vuong Street (from the Market Management Sub-department to the Ward Integrated Service Center), stalls will sell oranges, kumquats, mandarins, pomelos, Buddha’s hand fruit, along with Tet-related goods such as clothing, footwear, food and beverages and decorative items. Nha Trang Street (from Hung Vuong Street to the end of Trung Vuong Lower Secondary School) will feature ornamental kumquat trees, oranges, mandarins, pomelos and Buddha’s hand fruit. Quyet Tien Street (from Hung Vuong Street to the fence of the Provincial Cultural Center) will host stalls selling ceramics, ornamental stones and gardening tools.

According to the plan, the Organizing Committee will conduct a lottery and assign business sectors from January 31 to February 1; hand over the sites to business households on February 3; and officially commence trading activities on February 4, 2026.
