On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Dien Bien Phu and in response to the National Tourism Year 2024, Thai Nguyen province will participate in the activities of the exhibition "Tourism through Vietnam’s Heritage Sites and Landscapes" taking place from April 20 to 24, 2024 in Dien Bien province.

In the first quarter of 2024, total number of tourists to Thai Nguyen is estimated at 1,167,295 visitors; In which, visitors to tourist sites and destinations reached 877,495, up 6.5% compared to the same period, accommodation establishments-served guests reached 264,400, up 10% compared to the same period, tourists served by travel companies reached 21,750, up 18% compared to the same period, and international visitors are estimated at 3,650... Revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 350 billion VND, up 25% compared to the same period.

Towards the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (CYU) and welcoming the 7th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) in Thai Nguyen province for 2024 – 2029 term, on March 23, at the University of Information Technology and Communication, Thai Nguyen University, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial VYF organized the program "Footsteps for the Community" in 2024.

On March 20, the People's Committee of Dong Hy district organized the launching ceremony of the Olympic Run Day for People's Health and Dong Hy District Tien Phong Cross-Country Race in 2024.

To commemorate the 87th anniversary of the establishment of the first Party organization of Vo Nhai district (1937 - 2024) and the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the Revolutionary Government of Vo Nhai district (March 21, 1945 - March 21, 2024), on March 15 evening, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Vo Nhai district organized the opening of "Vo Nhai – The place of origin" festival in 2024.

In order to promote the program of association and cooperation in tourism development, at the same time promote and introduce the potentials, strengths, destinations, attractive tourism products, unique cultural and culinary features of ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a plan to organize a conference to promote tourism and introduce the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Week of Thai Nguyen province in 2024 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
