According to the plan, the International Tea Festival – Thai Nguyen 2026 is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026, coinciding with the 195th anniversary of the founding of Thai Nguyen Province (November 4, 1831 – November 4, 2026). The Organizing Committee is currently evaluating two venue options for the opening ceremony: a live-action outdoor stage at Ho Nui Coc Resort and Vo Nguyen Giap Square. The program will be organized in a modern manner, combining art, performance technology, and a Tea Carnival parade.

Within the framework of the Festival, a number of distinctive activities are expected to take place, including: the Vietnam Master Tea competition to honor the art of tea preparation and tea culture; the “Heritage Train” program on the Hanoi–Thai Nguyen route, combining the promotion of the tea-growing region and tea culture; an evening tea appreciation tour incorporating 3D Mapping technology; and the development of a brand identity system for the International Tea Festival – Thai Nguyen. In addition, the province will step up promotional activities across media outlets and digital platforms, and organize numerous promotion, trade facilitation, investment connection, and tourism development programs linked to tea culture.
