Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasizes the overarching principle: the development of enterprises is the development of Thai Nguyen Province

Briefing the investors, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee stated that, following the merger, Thai Nguyen Province now has a vast development space with rich and diverse potential. In parallel with the process of restructuring and reorganizing the apparatus, the province completed early adjustments to its provincial master plan, providing the foundation for formulating comprehensive development strategies with clear objectives. Priorities include developing inter-regional transport infrastructure; expanding industrial parks and industrial clusters; intensifying investment attraction; developing urban areas, commerce and services at a regional scale; and building the tourism brand “Paradise Lakes on the Mountains”, while the province simultaneously creates and maximizes new growth drivers alongside traditional ones.

He emphasized that Thai Nguyen Province always welcomes strategic investors who take interest in, research and implement investment projects in the province and consistently regards enterprise growth as provincial growth. Beyond industry, Thai Nguyen also attracts investment across diverse sectors, working alongside enterprises to foster harmonious, sustainable and balanced development across all regions.

Sharing at the working session, representatives of the investors expressed that Thai Nguyen has consistently been chosen as a top destination by both domestic and international investors. In order to put forward the most practical investment proposals, investors spent considerable time researching and conducting field surveys with guidance from leading investment experts and found that Thai Nguyen not only has ample room and “rare” potential for investment attraction, but that its open investment policies and the provincial government’s decisive engagement are themselves a major draw for enterprises. On the basis of their research and the direct exchanges with the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee at the working session, investors candidly proposed their target investment areas in key sectors, including: social housing, commercial housing, urban zones, industrial parks and other important fields. The investors also expressed confidence that cooperation with Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee will contribute to producing new achievements in the development of both parties, with the ultimate goal of a prosperous Thai Nguyen Province and ever-improving living standards for the local people.

On the basis of the investors’ proposals and areas of interest, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee directed the Department of Construction to closely coordinate and accompany investors in surveying locations for social housing projects and directed the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks to assist enterprises in fully accessing information related to infrastructure investment and industrial park development. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that the sectors of interest to the investors all fall within the priority group, placed by the province on the “green lane” for resolving investment procedures. The province hopes that through close cooperation between the government and enterprises, specific projects and products will soon take shape, generating new momentum for the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen in the coming time.
