The activities aim to revisit the province's glorious historical and revolutionary traditions; affirm the achievements of the Provincial Party Organization, the local government, and the People of all ethnic groups in the province over 195 years of construction and development; and promote the image of Thai Nguyen in the new period following the implementation of the policy on arranging provincial-level administrative units.

According to the plan, the key series of activities will take place from July to November 2026, in conjunction with the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival. Highlights include the opening ceremony of the International Tea Festival combined with celebrations marking the province's 195th founding anniversary; the launch of a special emulation campaign across the entire province; and extensive communication activities on the press, digital platforms, and the grassroots information system on the historical and cultural traditions, people, and development achievements of Thai Nguyen.

On this occasion, the province will organize a Logo Design Contest for Thai Nguyen Province to select an official identity image for external relations, investment promotion, trade, tourism, and communication activities; and will also launch a campaign to compose new songs about Thai Nguyen, aiming to spread the image of a land rich in tradition, identity, and aspirations for development.

The celebration activities also include an incense-offering ceremony and achievement reporting at ATK Dinh Hoa; a provincial-level scientific seminar themed "195 Years of Formation and Development of Thai Nguyen Province - Historical and Cultural Values and Development Directions in the New Period"; and an exhibition on 195 years of the province's construction and development along with the history and culture of Thai Nguyen tea. The exhibition will showcase the province's outstanding achievements across various fields, applying digital technology in displaying and promoting tea culture, OCOP products, and the local development potential.

In addition to provincial-level activities, commune and ward People's Committees will organize numerous responsive programs such as communication, cultural, artistic, and sports activities, exhibitions, urban embellishment, environmental sanitation, and patriotic emulation movements, helping create a lively atmosphere to celebrate the province's 195th founding anniversary. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism as the standing agency to take the lead in coordinating with departments, sectors, and localities to carry out tasks in a coordinated manner, ensuring that activities take place in a dignified, practical, effective manner with wide-reaching impact.
