Shifting from passive response to proactive prevention in natural disaster prevention, control, search and rescue

On the afternoon of July 24, the National Civil Defense Steering Committee held its First Session on Natural Disaster Prevention, Control, Search and Rescue (SAR) in 2025. Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister, Head of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee presided over at the Government bridge point.

Thai Nguyen: Plaque Unveiling Ceremony held for key power sector project to celebrate Party Congresses at all levels

On July 24, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) held the Plaque unveiling ceremony for the 220kV Phu Binh 2 Substation and the 220kV Phu Binh 2 transmission line branching from Thai Nguyen to Bac Giang to celebrate the upcoming the 1st Party Congress of the Government’s Party Committee. The Ceremony also marked the completion of Project of 04 110kV outgoing feeders from 220kV Phu Binh 2 substation in Thai Nguyen province and celebrated the 4th Party Congress of the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) for 2025–2030 term.

Leadership of the Provincial People's Committee meeting with AFD Vietnam Delegation

On the morning of July 24, Comrade Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a working session with a delegation from the French Development Agency (AFD) in Vietnam, led by Mr. Hervé Conan, Country Director of AFD in Vietnam, regarding the Project on Embankment Construction for Landslide Prevention, Climate Change Adaptation, Livelihood Protection and Agricultural Production Support in Bac Kan province (now Thai Nguyen province).
