The fireworks displays are not only meaningful activities to welcome the new spring but also events of profound political and social significance, encouraging and motivating cadres, Party members, the people and the business community to continue promoting the spirit of unity, innovation and creativity as well as to resolutely achieve the socio-economic development objectives and tasks for 2026 and the Resolution of the 1^st Thai Nguyen Province Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, towards celebrating the 14^th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

According to the plan, the fireworks displays will last for 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on February 17, 2026 (Lunar New Year’s Eve). Specifically, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks will be displayed; at Van Xuan Square and Doi Ky Bridge area in Bac Kan ward, low-altitude fireworks will be organized, creating an open viewing space to meet the needs of the people in welcoming Spring and celebrating the Lunar New Year.

The Provincial Military Command is the lead agency, coordinating with the Provincial Police, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People’s Committees of Phan Dinh Phung, Van Xuan and Bac Kan wards and relevant agencies and units to implement the plan.

The province requires that organizational work be carefully and scientifically prepared, ensuring absolute safety and strict compliance with legal regulations; simultaneously promoting socialization, reasonably mobilizing resources and bringing into full play the roles and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, localities, enterprises and the people. Through these efforts, activities welcoming Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 across the province will be joyful, safe and economical, creating new momentum and new motivation for the rapid and sustainable development of Thai Nguyen in the new period.
