Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, chairs the meeting
In his orientating remarks at the meeting, Comrade Duong Van Luong affirmed that alongside industrial development and investment attraction, the province is focusing on vigorously promoting tourism, trade, and services in order to create new drivers of growth. The province has set a target of welcoming 12 million tourist arrivals by 2030, with total tourism revenue reaching approximately VND 25,000 billion. He noted that to realize this target, in addition to investing in infrastructure, building tourism products and organizing promotional activities, the province is moving swiftly to finalize support mechanisms and policies for tourism development for the 2026–2030 period. He emphasized that the quality of the policies will directly determine the effectiveness of their implementation in practice; therefore, policy formulation must be conducted with rigor, grounded in the practical needs of localities, enterprises, cooperatives, and households directly participating in tourism activities.
