List of 92 new communal-level administrative units of Thai Nguyen province after arrangement and merger
The National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1683/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of communal-level administrative units of Thai Nguyen province in 2025.
Based on Scheme No. 375/DA-CP dated May 9, 2025 of the Government on the arrangement of communal-level administrative units of Thai Nguyen province (new) in 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to arrange to establish communal-level administrative units of Thai Nguyen province as follows:
1. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Thinh Duc, Binh Son and Tan Cuong communes into a new commune named Tan Cuong commune. 

2. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Hung Son town and Phuc Xuan, Phuc Triu, Tan Thai and Phuc Tan communes into a new commune named Dai Phuc commune.
3. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Van Phai commune and Thanh Cong commune into a new commune named Thanh Cong commune.
4. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cho Chu town and Phuc Chu, Bao Linh and Dong Thinh communes into a new commune named Dinh Hoa commune.
5. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Trung Luong, Dinh Bien, Thanh Dinh and Binh Yen communes into a new commune named Binh Yen commune.
6. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Phu Tien, Boc Nhieu and Trung Hoi communes into a new commune named Trung Hoi commune.
7. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Tan Duong, Tan Thinh and Phuong Tien communes into a new commune named Phuong Tien commune.
8. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Diem Mac commune and Phu Dinh commune into a new commune named Phu Dinh commune.
9. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Son Phu commune and Binh Thanh commune into a new commune named Binh Thanh commune.
10. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Quy Ky commune and Kim Phuong commune into a new commune named Kim Phuong commune.
11. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Linh Thong commune and Lam Vy commune into a new commune named Lam Vy commune.
12. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Dinh Ca town, Phu Thuong commune and Lau Thuong commune into a new commune named Vo Nhai commune.
13. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Binh Long, Phuong Giao and Dan Tien communes into a new commune named Dan Tien commune.
14. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Vu Chan commune and Nghinh Tuong commune into a new commune named Nghinh Tuong commune.
15. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Thuong Nung commune and Than Xa commune into a new commune named Than Sa commune.
16. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cuc Duong commune and La Hien commune into a new commune named La Hien commune.
17. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Lien Minh commune and Trang Xa commune into a new commune named Trang Xa commune.
18. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Du town, Giang Tien town, Yen Lac commune and Dong Dat commune into a new commune named Phu Luong commune.
19. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of the communes of Tuc Tranh, Co Lung and Phu Do and Vo Tranh communes into a new commune named Vo Tranh commune.
20. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Yen Ninh, Yen Do and Yen Trach communes into a new commune named Yen Trach commune.
21. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of On Luong, Phu Ly and Hop Thanh communes into a new commune named Hop Thanh commune.
22. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Hoa Thuong town, Song Cau town, Minh Lap commune and Hoa Trung commune into a new commune named Dong Hy commune.
23. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Tan Long commune and Quang Son commune into a new commune named Quang Son commune.
24. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Trai Cau town and Hop Tien commune into a new commune named Trai Cau commune.
25. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cay Thi commune and Nam Hoa commune into a new commune named Nam Hoa commune.
26. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Khe Mo commune and Van Han commune into a new commune named Van Han commune.
27. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Hoa Binh commune and Van Lang commune into a new commune named Van Lang commune.
28. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Binh Thuan, Khoi Ky, My Yen and Luc Ba communes into a new commune named Dai Tu commune.
29. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Minh Tien, Phuc Luong and Duc Luong communes into a new commune named Duc Luong commune.
30. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Ban Ngoai, Phu Cuong and Phu Thinh communes into a new commune named Phu Thinh commune.
31. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Hoang Nong, Tien Hoi and La Bang communes into a new commune named La Bang commune.
32. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Phuc Linh, Tan Linh and Phu Lac communes into a new commune named Phu Lac commune.

36. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Yen Lang commune and Phu Xuyen commune into a new commune named Phu Xuyen commune.
37. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Huong Son town, Xuan Phuong, Uc Ky, Nha Long and Bao Ly communes and part of the natural area and population scale of Thuong Dinh commune into a new commune named Phu Binh commune.
38. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Tan Hoa, Tan Kim and Tan Thanh communes into a new commune named Tan Thanh commune.
39. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Ha Chau, Nga My, Diem Thuy communes and the rest of Thuong Dinh commune after being rearranged according to the provisions of Clause 37 of this Article into a new commune named Diem Thuy commune.
40. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Luong Phu, Tan Duc, Thanh Ninh, Duong Thanh and Kha Son communes into a new commune named Kha Son commune.
41. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Ban Dat, Dao Xa and Tan Khanh communes into a new commune named Tan Khanh commune.
42. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Boc Bo, Nhan Mon, Giao Hieu and Bang Thanh communes into a new commune named Bang Thanh commune.
43. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Xuan La, An Thang and Nghien Loan communes into a new commune named Nghien Loan commune.
44. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cong Bang, Co Linh and Cao Tan communes into a new commune named Cao Minh commune.
45. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cao Thuong, Nam Mau and Khang Ninh communes into a new commune named Ba Be commune.
46. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Cho Ra town, Thuong Giao commune and Dia Linh commune into a new commune named Cho Ra commune.
47. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Banh Trach, Ha Hieu and Phuc Loc communes into a new commune named Phuc Loc commune.
48. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Yen Duong, Chu Huong and My Phuong communes into a new commune named Thuong Minh commune.
49. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Quang Khe, Hoang Tri, Bang Phuc and Dong Phuc communes into a new commune named Dong Phuc commune.

69. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Quang Phong, Duong Son and Con Minh communes into a new commune named Con Minh commune.
70. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Dong Xa, Liem Thuy and Xuan Duong communes into a new commune named Xuan Duong commune.

75. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Yen Cu, Binh Van and Yen Han communes into a new commune named Yen Binh commune.
76. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Trung Vuong, Tuc Duyen, Dong Quang, Quang Trung, Hoang Van Thu, Tan Thinh and Phan Dinh Phung wards and part of the natural area and population scale of Gia Sang ward into a new ward named Phan Dinh Phung ward.
77. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Chua Hang ward, Dong Bam ward and Cao Ngan, Huong Thuong and Linh Son communes into a new ward named Linh Son ward.
78. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Trung Thanh (Thai Nguyen city), Phu Xa, Tan Thanh, Tan Lap and Tich Luong wards and part of the natural area and population scale of Cam Gia ward into a new ward named Tich Luong ward.
79. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Huong Son ward, Dong Lien commune, the rest of Gia Sang ward after the arrangement under the provisions of Clause 76 of this Article and the remaining part of Cam Gia ward after the arrangement under the provisions of Clause 78 of this Article into a new ward named Gia Sang ward.
80. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Thinh Dan ward, Phuc Ha commune and Quyet Thang commune into a new ward named Quyet Thang ward.
81. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Tan Long, Quang Vinh, Quan Trieu wards and Son Cam commune into a new ward named Quan Trieu ward.
82. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Thang Loi, Pho Co and Cai Dan wards into a new ward named Song Cong ward.
83. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Mo Che ward, Chau Son ward and Ba Xuyen commune into a new ward named Ba Xuyen ward.
84. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Luong Son ward, Bach Quang ward and Tan Quang commune into a new ward named Bach Quang ward.
85. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Ba Hang, Hong Tien, Bai Bong and Dac Son wards into a new ward named Pho Yen ward.
86. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Nam Tien, Dong Tien, Tan Huong and Tien Phong wards into a new ward named Van Xuan ward.
87. Arranging the entire natural area and population scale of Trung Thanh (Pho Yen city), Dong Cao, Tan Phu and Thuan Thanh wards into a new ward named Trung Thanh ward.

91. After the arrangement, Thai Nguyen province has 92 communal-level administrative units, including 77 communes and 15 wards; among them, 75 communes and 15 wards were formed after the arrangement and 02 communes did not undergo arrangement: Sang Moc commune and Thuong Quan commune.
