Dinh Hoa Safe Zone (ATK) and ATK Cho Don Special National Historical Relic Sites

Visiting Thai Nguyen is returning to the “Capital of the Wind and Thousands, the Viet Bac War Zone”, home to the Dinh Hoa Safe Zone (ATK) historical relic complex with 182 relic sites marking the Resistance Capital in the heart of Viet Bac, ranked as a Special National Relic - where President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Central Committee and the Government lived and worked to lead the resistance war against the French colonialists (1946-1954), where important decisions of the country were made leading to victory, ending the war and restoring peace in Indochina.

Along with that, the Special National Historical Relic Site ATK Cho Don includes 25 relic sites, of which 6 are ranked at the national level. National Historical Relic Site of 60 Youth Volunteer Martyrs of Company 915, Team 91 Bac Thai

Located in Gia Sang ward, Thai Nguyen province, the National Historical Relic Site of 60 Youth Volunteer Martyrs of Company 915, Team 91 Bac Thai - A sacred work, is a place for tens of thousands of Vietnamese people, overseas Vietnamese and international tourists to visit and offer incense to remember the Heroic Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the carpet bombing of the US imperialists on Christmas Eve in 1972. This place displays nearly 350 artifacts, documents and materials recreating the difficult life, arduous fighting and heroic sacrifice of 60 youth volunteers in the resistance war against the US to save the country. The relic has been ranked as a National Historical Relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups

The Museum of Cultures of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups is one of the National museums of Vietnam. This place displays and preserves over 40,000 original documents and artifacts about the traditional culture of 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. The museum has an indoor and outdoor exhibition system. Coming here, visitors can see with their own eyes costumes, production methods, daily life, cultural and artistic activities in 5 indoor exhibition rooms and outdoor spaces of 6 cultural regions under the guidance of on-site tour guides.
