Comrade Nguyen The Manh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivers remarks at the Program
Speaking at the Program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Manh acknowledged and praised the important contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs to the province's socioeconomic development. He affirmed that the recognition was not merely about honoring achievements in production and business, but also about recognizing resilience, the spirit of innovation, business ethics, and businesses' responsibilities toward employees, the community and their home province.
He emphasized that Thai Nguyen regards businesses as participants in the development process. Accordingly, authorities at all levels and in all sectors must proactively identify and resolve difficulties and obstacles rather than wait for businesses to raise concerns, while building a transparent, equitable, safe and favorable investment and business environment. He called for continued strict adherence to the 'six clear' approach, matching words with actions and using actual results to measure performance. In particular, how easily and effectively businesses operate must become one of the important measures of governance quality. The province pledged to continue listening to and supporting businesses and providing the best possible conditions within the law so that they can confidently invest, engage in production and business, and pursue long-term growth.
Addressing the business community, the Chairman expressed his hope that businesses would embrace self-reliance and a determination to grow stronger; accelerate technological innovation, improve management capacity, build brands, promote digital and green transformation, and strengthen linkages. Large enterprises should take the lead; enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI) should forge closer links with domestic firms; and businesses throughout the province should actively cooperate, share opportunities and grow together. Every entrepreneur should uphold the values of trustworthiness and integrity, conduct business in accordance with the law, and act responsibly toward employees, the community and their home province.
