Prime Pho Yen Joint Stock Company was granted an Investment Certificate by Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee for the Floor Tile Manufacturing Plant Construction Project with a scale of 12,000,000 m² of products/year in Thuan Thanh commune, Pho Yen district (now Trung Thanh ward, Thai Nguyen province). Subsequently, the Company was approved for the land lease policy to implement the Project with an area of over 195,000 m², including land of ELOVI Vietnam Company and 30,000 m² of agricultural land. Regarding the agricultural land area, the Company has completed the payment of site clearance compensation and tax and fee obligations. However, due to obstacles in the land lease content for the expanded area, the Company has not been able to use the compensated land area to implement the Project.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the land use planning related to the Project and simultaneously proposed a plan recommending the Provincial People's Committee to consider adjusting the investment policy towards increasing the project implementation area. The adjustment aims to create a basis for carrying out land procedures, ensuring eligibility for land allocation to deploy the Project in accordance with regulations.

Delivering directing remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong emphasized: Removing difficulties for the Project is a necessary task that needs to be implemented immediately. He requested related agencies to clearly review the Project scope inside and outside the industrial park to advise on appropriate handling plans, ensuring the stability of the planned area of the province's industrial parks. In case of area adjustment, it is necessary to research and balance among areas so as not to change the overall planning. Regarding the area outside the industrial park, units must base on the planning and land fund and simultaneously clarify the land origin and land allocation authority, on that basis calculating the plan for auction or land allocation in accordance with legal regulations.

He assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with departments, sectors and the Management Board of Provincial Industrial Parks to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the handling plan based on the correct sequence, procedures and legal regulations. Units need to focus on completely resolving obstacles, striving to complete the plan by around March 20 to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
