The Nui Coc Lake 5-star International Resort (Flamingo Maison 108 Nui Coc Lake) Project is gradually taking shape

One of the most prominent projects currently being implemented is the Nui Coc Lake 5-star International Resort (Flamingo Maison 108 Nui Coc Lake) Project in Dai Phuc Commune (Thai Nguyen), which was commenced by Flamingo Group in March 2025. With a total land area of 19.8 hectares, the project includes 108 luxurious mansions, a system of separate bungalows, and a chain of personalized resort amenities meeting international standards. Flamingo Group strives to complete all items and have the project accepted and put into use in the fourth quarter of 2026. When completed, the resort is expected to welcome from 50,000 to 70,000 visitors per year, creating a major step forward for high-end tourism in Thai Nguyen.

Glory Golf Course in Thanh Cong Commune has completed many items

Along with Flamingo’s project, Glory Golf Course in Thanh Cong Commune is also focusing on implementing its items. The project is invested by MDA G&C Co., Ltd. (Republic of Korea) with a total investment of more than VND 388 billion. Approved in June 2023, Glory Golf Course has an area of nearly 54 hectares, designed with 18 holes meeting international standards. With a favorable location, only 60 km from Ha Noi, 38 km from Noi Bai International Airport and located near the Thai Nguyen – Bac Ninh – Phu Tho connecting road, Glory Golf Course promises to become a new sports and resort highlight, creating strong appeal for tourists and investors.

Also belonging to the high-end segment, the Tan Thai Golf Course Sports Complex Project, invested and constructed in Dai Phuc Commune, is also being implemented with a planned area of 194 hectares, creating a prominent highlight for the province’s tourism, sports, and high-end resort sectors. The golf course sports complex is invested on an area of 84.2 hectares. The Project aims to form an 18-hole international-standard golf course, together with a system of modern and synchronous utility facilities such as: the Club House administrative building, auxiliary structures, landscaped green areas, resort accommodation services, and technical infrastructure. The Project not only meets the demand for training and passion for golf among people inside and outside the province, but is also qualified to host domestic and international tournaments. At the same time, the facility contributes to promoting tourism in Dai Phuc Commune in particular and Thai Nguyen Province in general, creating a green and beautiful landscape for the area, serving local residents and visitors, thereby generating employment, increasing budget revenue, and making positive contributions to local socio-economic development. To date, many components have basically been completed and are expected to be put into operation in the second quarter of 2026.

According to Comrade Nguyen Nam Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Phuc Commune: After the administrative merger, the locality has determined to focus on developing tourism, trade, and services, creating a new growth pole and increasing the proportion of green economy in the province’s economic structure. Dai Phuc also has great potential for eco-tourism thanks to the advantages of Nui Coc Lake, the Cong River basin, and abundant land resources for development. Currently, there are 12 projects being implemented in the commune, both on-budget and off-budget, related to the Nui Coc Lake area, with total investment capital of over VND 5,300 billion. The projects that have been and are being implemented not only affirm the potential to become the high-end tourism, sports, and resort center of the western area of the province, but also create strong momentum to attract investment and form a chain of supporting services such as golf courses, hotels, restaurants, and commercial centers.

To accompany these major projects, Thai Nguyen is focusing on investing in the completion of regional transport connection infrastructure, routes leading to Nui Coc Lake, and other key areas. Notably, the Thai Nguyen – Bac Ninh – Phu Tho connecting road project and Ring Road 5. Currently, the Central Government is investing in the Cho Moi – Bac Kan Expressway Project and the Ho Chi Minh Road Project, Cho Chu – Trung Son T-junction (Tuyen Quang) section. In the Dai Phuc Commune area, projects such as the Nui Coc Lake Road, the route connecting from Bac Son Road to the Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area, and the project to renovate and upgrade the canal embankment combined with road construction along the main channel of Nui Coc Lake are also being actively implemented. Once the key transport routes are completed and put into use, they will create great appeal for investors, promote socio-economic development, shift the province’s labor structure, and especially create an important impetus to maximize the potential of major resort tourism projects currently being invested in.

Along with this, accommodation services, trade, and entertainment systems are also encouraged to develop in a professional and modern direction, suitable for the new resort tourism segment. Thanks to this orientation, Thai Nguyen is becoming a prominent destination in the region by harmoniously combining natural landscapes, high-end projects, and synchronous infrastructure.

Strategic steps in attracting investment, completing infrastructure, and diversifying products are helping Thai Nguyen increasingly become an attractive destination for both visitors and major investors. The series of ongoing projects not only creates architectural and landscape highlights but also opens up opportunities for developing high-quality resort areas in the province.
