Attending the opening of the Fair were Comrades: Cao Xuan Thu Van, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Renewal and Development of the Collective Economy and Cooperatives of Thai Nguyen Province; Vu Duy Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of provincial departments, sectors, and business associations; partner units and product distributors; sponsors; more than 100 cooperatives and cooperative unions that are members of the Ninh Binh and Thai Nguyen Provincial Alliances of Cooperatives and of the Alliances of Cooperatives of other provinces and cities nationwide; and trading enterprises and production establishments from various provinces and cities that came to connect and trade at the Fair.

The Program was held to celebrate the 7th National Congress of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance for the 2026 - 2031 term, and to respond to the “Vietnamese People Prioritize the Use of Vietnamese Goods” Campaign. This is an occasion for cooperatives, production establishments, and enterprises inside and outside the province to display, introduce, and promote their products, connect and trade, seek cooperation opportunities, expand consumption markets, and build their brands; it also serves as a bridge for OCOP products and local specialty products to be more widely promoted, raising their added value and competitiveness.

Through the Fair, the Organizing Committee hopes to introduce to consumers outstanding, safe products of clear origin that embody the cultural identity of each region, while also creating conditions for cooperatives to learn from experience, seek partners, sign product consumption contracts, and expand production linkages along the value chain.

In addition, distribution enterprises, supermarkets, shopping malls, e-commerce platforms, and partners inside and outside the province directly surveyed sources of goods, assessed product quality, and established long-term cooperative relationships with cooperatives.

The Fair will take place from August 5 to August 11

The Fair features more than 100 booths with products including: agricultural produce, safe food, regional specialties, handicraft products, OCOP and VietGAP products; outstanding products of cooperatives, and products for daily consumption.

The Fair will take place from August 5 to August 11, 2026, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, Thai Nguyen Province.
