On May 15, at Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province, Central Retail Vietnam Group held the groundbreaking ceremony for GO! Pho Yen Shopping Center, the 46th member in the chain of shopping centers under the Central Retail Group in Vietnam.

Attending the ceremony were Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Bui Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of several provincial departments, agencies and localities.

Over the years, Thai Nguyen Province has consistently identified the development of trade and services in a civilized, modern direction as one of the important tasks to promote economic growth, improve the quality of people's lives and gradually complete the urban character of the province. Along with industrial development, particularly in the southern area of the province, demand for high-quality commercial and service infrastructure is growing. As a result, the implementation of GO! Pho Yen Shopping Center Project carries significant importance, not only contributing to the completion of the province's commercial and service infrastructure system, but also creating a driver to stimulate urban development, attract investment and better serve the needs of residents, experts and workers in the industrial parks.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Olivier Langlet, Chief Executive Officer of Central Retail Vietnam Group, praised the investment environment of Thai Nguyen Province and emphasized: Central Retail's projects in Thai Nguyen are among those that have completed investment procedures in the shortest time of any projects the Group has undertaken in Vietnam, demonstrating the tremendous efforts of the local government and departments in accompanying enterprises
GO! Pho Yen Shopping Center Project is developed by Viet Nhat Pho Yen Real Estate Joint Stock Company and is implemented in Yen Binh Urban Zone, a location with favorable access that connects to key industrial parks including Yen Binh, Diem Thuy, Phu Binh and Tay Pho Yen; with regional transport links to Hanoi, Noi Bai International Airport and neighboring provinces. The project spans more than 12,000 square meters with a total investment of over VND 400 billion, developed in a synchronized and modern manner. Upon completion and operation, the project will supplement the province's modern shopping center system, create additional jobs for workers, increase local budget revenues and better meet the shopping, recreational and entertainment needs of local residents, experts and workers.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility demonstrated by provincial departments, agencies and localities in supporting and assisting the investor in completing required procedures, while also recognizing the proactive determination of Viet Nhat Pho Yen Real Estate Joint Stock Company in investment preparation and project implementation. He requested the investor to concentrate resources, conduct construction in a scientific and methodical manner and ensure the project's schedule and quality; to strictly comply with laws on investment, construction, land, environmental protection, fire prevention and firefighting and occupational safety; and to strive to bring the project into operation as planned. He called on departments, agencies and local authorities to continue accompanying and closely cooperating with the investor, proactively providing guidance and promptly resolving any difficulties that may arise during project implementation; to strengthen state management, inspection and supervision to ensure the project is carried out in compliance with the law. He urged relevant agencies and units to continue advancing administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment and enhancing service delivery to residents and enterprises, thereby contributing to building Thai Nguyen Province into an increasingly dynamic, modern and sustainable province.
