On May 30, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee organized a Conference to review 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on "Promoting the learning from and following of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics and style"; while simultaneously recognizing and rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals with excellent achievements.

On the morning of May 30, Vo Nhai District organized a groundbreaking ceremony and presented financial support for housing construction and renovation for policy-beneficiary households, people with meritorious services to the revolution and martyrs' families in Lau Thuong Commune. The program was attended by Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee, along with leaders of Vo Nhai District and sponsors.

In implementing Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee's Plan to develop an e-commerce street model in Thai Nguyen City, on the morning of May 30, the Trade Promotion Center (Department of Industry and Trade) collaborated with Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology organize a training program to enhance e-commerce skills for production and business establishments.

In implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on organizing Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, Thai Nguyen Province Party Standing Committee requires Party committees and party organizations at all levels to focus on leading and directing political and ideological work to ensure the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels for 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of May 30, Thai Nguyen Province Party Committee and Bac Kan Province Party Committee organized a Document Subcommittee Conference to provide feedback on the draft documents for Thai Nguyen Province Party Congress for 2025-2030 term. Comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of Bac Kan Province Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Thai Nguyen, co-chaired the Conference.

Thai Nguyen Province Volleyball Tournament 2025 is organized by the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism at Thai Nguyen Province Sports Arena. According to the schedule, the Tournament takes place from May 26-31, 2025, with the participation of nearly 200 team leaders, coaches and athletes from 15 teams representing various units within the province, competing in men's volleyball. The Tournament is an activity to celebrate major holidays of the country, promote volleyball training and competition movement throughout the province, improve health and cultural-spiritual life for the people; while simultaneously selecting outstanding athletes to participate in regional and national sports competitions.

Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee has recently issued a Plan for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the waste management sector within the province by 2030. This is a concrete step to realize Vietnam's commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 while implementing the National Action Plan on methane emission reduction by 2030.

Textile and garment enterprises need to rapidly access and apply science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in their production and business activities - This was emphasized by Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee at the Conference on Development of Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Textile and Garment Sector in Thai Nguyen Province held this morning (May 29).

In order to raise awareness and improve skills in the safe, economical and efficient electricity use among the younger generation, on May 28, Thai Nguyen Power Company, in coordination with Thai Nguyen City Power Company, organized a program of propagating safe and economical electricity use at Nguyen Du Secondary School and Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted.

On the morning of May 29, the Party Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to discuss and provide opinions on many important contents regarding leadership and direction of socio-economic development and organizational restructuring work. The Conference was attended by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Standing members of the Party Committee, members of the Party Standing Committee, members of the Party Executive Committee of the province.

On May 29, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize the May 2025 Press Briefing Conference. The Conference was attended by the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Journalists Association; and leaders of central and provincial news agencies, press and media organizations.

Thai Nguyen is not only the land of delicious tea and beautiful scenery. This place also harbors a martial spirit - not ostentatious, but humble like tea fragrance, persistent like tea plants on the hillsides reaching up to catch the dawn light.

In the final days of May, I had the opportunity to meet with youth delegates from Thai Nguyen Province returning from the 8th National Congress of Outstanding Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City. Throughout the 4-day Congress, these exemplary young faces of Thai Nguyen youth fulfilled their mission of bringing the spirit of youth from this heroic revolutionary land to the national youth activities, thereby promoting and honoring the traditional culture and beauty of Thai Nguyen's land and people.

Thai Nguyen, located in the Northern midland and mountainous region of Vietnam, is a land rich in long-standing cultural and historical values, renowned for its vast, verdant tea hills. Those who have visited Thai Nguyen can hardly forget the sight of the lush green tea hills stretching endlessly like a jade carpet under the moonlight, as depicted in the verse by poet Nguyen Binh: “Ai mang trăng sáng rắc trên đồi chè” (Who scattered moonlight across the tea hills)". This line paints a poetic image of Thai Nguyen - a land imbued with profound cultural values, breathtaking nature and warm, sincere people. The verse also resonates like a nostalgic refrain; a love song evoking the romantic scenery and enduring vitality of the land and its people.

Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) 2025 in Thai Nguyen concluded with many outstanding results. This was not only a series of activities caring for workers, but also demonstrated flexibility and creativity in the organization and implementation of Trade Union work in Thai Nguyen.

On the morning of May 28, at Thai Nguyen Province Sports Arena, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen Province held the opening ceremony of Thai Nguyen Province Volleyball Tournament 2025.

On the morning of May 28, Phu Binh High School (Phu Binh district) organized a Ceremony to announce the decision and receive the Certificate of Recognition as National Standard School Level 2 and review the 2024-2025 school year. The program was attended by leaders of the Department of Education and Training; representatives of some departments, committees, sectors, Phu Binh District People's Committee and high schools in the province.

On the morning of May 28, the 20th Dai Tu District People's Council for 2021-2026 term organized the Fifteenth Specialized Session to consider and decide on contents under its authority according to the Law. The Session was attended by Comrade Vu Duy Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Central Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission.

Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee has just issued a Plan for the implementation of Decision No. 1422/QD-TTg dated November 19, 2024 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the National Climate Change Adaptation Plan for 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 in the province.

The first images of the animated film "Cricket: The Adventure to the Muddy Hamlet" were unveiled to the public at a special premiere organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the evening of May 26. This is a cultural event that has received enthusiastic anticipation from the people and art-loving audiences both within and outside the province.
