As part of a comprehensive digital transformation effort in the health sector, 13 out of 27 medical facilities in the province are now eligible to implement electronic medical records (EMRs). The healthcare sector aims for the remaining facilities to complete this process by May 20, 2025, exceeding the set targets.

In implementing the Central Government’s regulations on the reorganization and merger of commune-level administrative units for 2023–2030 period, to ensure strict and effective state management of land, especially in the context of possible exploitation of the merger policy for land profiteering, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province has recently issued a directive requesting relevant departments, sectors and localities to intensify land management efforts.

The 38-storey mixed-use residential and commercial twin tower project (BV Diamond Hill) located on Bac Son Street, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Thai Nguyen City is being developed by BV Land Joint Stock Company (a member of Bach Viet Group). At present, the contractor is mobilizing all resources to ensure the project is implemented with safety, quality and on-schedule progress.

On May 9, an interdisciplinary delegation including representatives of the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Finance and Thai Nguyen province Branch of the Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) conducted an inspection and supervision of the management and use of job creation loan funds in Dong Hy District.

On the morning of May 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the State Steering Committee for Important National Projects and Key Transport Sector Projects (Steering Committee), chaired the 17th Session of the Steering Committee. The Session was attended by Deputy Prime Ministers; Steering Committee members including Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies; leadership of Provincial People's Committees; representatives of project management boards, State-owned economic groups, investors, consulting units and construction contractors.

On May 9, the Provincial Inspection Delegation began an inspection according to Plan No. 236/KH-UBND dated December 13, 2024 of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee regarding inspection of public service and administrative reform in Thai Nguyen Province in 2025.

In order to improve knowledge and skills in applying modern technology in agricultural production, Thai Nguyen Province Farmers' Association has developed a plan to implement the "AI for All" movement in 2025, with the goal of popularizing artificial intelligence (AI) to a large number of farmer members throughout the province.

On the morning of May 10, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a Conference to implement the Action Plan for Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo, Resolution No. 193/2025/QH15 dated February 19, 2025 of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP dated April 1, 2025 of the Government on breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in the Agriculture and Environment sector. Comrade Do Duc Duy, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Minister of Agriculture and Environment, chaired the Conference.

On the afternoon of May 7, the Central Coordination Office for New Rural Development organized a meeting of the Central Assessment Council to evaluate Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province for recognition as an advanced new rural (NR) district in 2024. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam, Chairman of the Central Assessment Council, presided over the meeting. For Thai Nguyen province, attendees included comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Agriculture and Environment, NR Coordination Office and Phu Binh district.

On May 8, Nui Phao Mining coordinated with the People’s Committee of Hung Son Town to donate 500 trash bins and provide training on waste segregation at source for over 200 households in the area. The initiative supports the town’s efforts to maintain its status as a civilized urban area, while promoting a green, clean, and beautiful lifestyle that links sustainable development with environmental protection.

On the afternoon of May 7, the Offices of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council of Thai Nguyen and Bac Kan provinces held a working session to agree on several contents related to building the merger scheme for two Offices.

In order to ensure stable electricity supply for production, business operations and daily lives of the people during the peak months of 2025 (May, June, July) and subsequent years, contributing to the economic growth target for 2025 and 2026-2030 period which aims for double-digit growth, Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee has issued a directive to departments, sectors, localities and related units to proactively implement comprehensive, effective solutions to ensure electricity supply.

On the afternoon of May 7, comrade Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with representatives from departments, sectors, localities and related units to implement Plan No. 108/KH-UBND dated April 29, 2025 on the transition of management for public investment programs, tasks, projects and plans during the process of reorganizing and consolidating the two-tier local government apparatus.

On May 6, the Department of Home Affairs collaborated with the Provincial Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) and the Division of Home Affairs of Phu Luong district to inspect, supervise and evaluate the management and use of capital from the National Employment Fund in 2025 in Phu Luong district.

After more than a year of implementing Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the Party Central Executive Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of national great unity, Thai Nguyen Trade Union has made remarkable achievements with many practical results, contributing to consolidating the great unity bloc and improving the lives of union members and workers.

In response to the increasingly complex and sophisticated developments of high-tech crimes in cyberspace used for fraud and property appropriation, agencies, units and localities throughout Thai Nguyen province are intensifying propaganda measures to enhance public knowledge and reduce damages to citizens.

According to the Health Department's report, healthcare services in the province have continued to operate stably and effectively; diseases have been well controlled with no unusual developments; and no collective food poisoning cases have been recorded throughout the province since the beginning of 2025.

As of the end of April 2025, the concentrated newly planted forest area across the province has reached 1,626.3 hectares, equivalent to 46.5% of the 2025 annual target. The number of scattered green trees planted under the One Billion Green Trees Project for 2021-2025 period has reached 1 million trees, equivalent to 84.8% of the plan.

On the morning of May 5, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Phuc Ha Commune (Thai Nguyen City), held a meeting with Mr. Ma Van Hoan, a resident of Quynh Son Hamlet, Quynh Son Commune, Bac Giang City. Mr. Hoan is currently employed at Khanh Hoa Coal Company (located in Phuc Ha Commune, Thai Nguyen City) and is the owner of Facebook account “Minh Hoan”, regarding a comment he made related to Thai Nguyen Province’s program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, posted on the Fanpage of Thai Nguyen Province Electronic Information Portal – TNGOP.

On the afternoon of May 5, Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies chaired the Fourth Conference of the Party Standing Committee. The Conference was attended by comrade Duong Van Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; comrade Mai Thi Thuy Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; and members of the Party Committee Standing Committee.
