According to the plan, the project will be developed on an area of approximately 4.7 hectares with a projected total investment of approximately VND 150 billion, of which the Ministry of National Defense will contribute VND 105 billion with the provincial budget contributing approximately VND 45 billion. The project will be built in a comprehensive and modern manner to meet the educational needs of approximately 1,400 students who are children of residents of Linh Son ward, covering both primary and secondary levels. Upon completion, it will serve as a modern and friendly learning environment, contributing to improving the quality of education and providing favorable conditions for students in the area. The project is expected to be commissioned before the opening ceremony of the 2027–2028 school year.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Linh emphasized: Linh Son Combined Primary and Secondary School project is of great significance to the educational development of the locality. It is also a practical project to celebrate the major national holidays, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the armed forces and the people, and reflecting the attention of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 1 for Thai Nguyen Province in supporting educational development, social welfare and the improvement of people’s livelihoods. He sincerely expressed gratitude for the attention and support of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 1, for the coordination of the provincial departments, agencies and localities, and for the consensus of the residents of Linh Son ward throughout the project implementation process.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Lieutenant General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1, called on the Project Management Board to urgently complete all necessary procedures to proceed with project implementation in strict compliance with state regulations and Ministry of National Defense requirements. He stressed the need to select qualified consultants and design units with sufficient capacity, experience, expertise and deep understanding of education, in order to meet all criteria for a modern and smart school in accordance with national standards. He also called for the selection of construction contractors with adequate resources and experience to ensure the project is delivered on schedule, to the required quality and with good aesthetics. Regular inspection and supervision of construction contractors must be carried out to ensure that all items are built on schedule and to the quality specified in the approved technical design, with rigorous and orderly acceptance procedures. He expressed confidence that the project would be implemented on schedule, to the required quality and with effectiveness, resulting in a smart and modern school that serves as a model of educational development for the locality.
