The Provincial Stadium Construction Project is invested to ensure facilities serving the sports training needs of the people; to step up physical education and sports work; to train sports talents; to serve as a foundation for developing high-performance sports; and to host provincial, regional and national sports tournaments as well as major provincial events.

According to the report at the meeting, the Project has a seating capacity of approximately 8,000. To date, the site clearance work is essentially complete; construction and installation items are being implemented according to plan. During the implementation process, the Northern Transport and Agriculture Construction Investment Project Management Board proposed adding a number of items to enhance synchronicity, safety and improve the exploitation efficiency of the facility after being put into use. The additional items primarily focus on completing the technical infrastructure system, ensuring structural safety, improving the quality of the playing surface and lighting system and adding essential equipment for operating and utilizing the stadium after it is put into use...

Delegates delivering opinions at the meeting

At the meeting, delegates exchanged views and proposed a number of solutions to improve the implementation efficiency of the Project, to ensure safety and effectiveness and to accelerate the investment progress so that the Project can be put into operation at the earliest opportunity.

Delivering directive remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong emphasized that the implementation process of the Project must be carried out in a strict and compliant manner, ensuring proper regulatory adherence, construction quality, synchronicity and long-term exploitation efficiency. Reviewing and adding a number of items is necessary to enhance safety, improve quality and ensure the stable operation of the facility after it is put into use. However, additional investment items must be carefully evaluated on the basis of actual conditions and suited to practical usage needs, avoiding fragmented investment and waste of resources. He assigned relevant departments and branches to continue coordinating in reviewing and specifically assessing the necessity of each item and to urgently advise and finalize related contents for submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision in accordance with regulations.
