Hospital Board of Directors members, department and center leaders, along with over 1,200 hospital medical staff participated in the training
Implementing electronic medical records is an important step in the digital transformation roadmap, towards building a smart hospital with comprehensive digitization in management and medical treatment, ensuring increasingly better service to the people and contributing to improving medical treatment effectiveness, moving toward a paperless hospital in the future.
Accordingly, the implementation of electronic medical records must comply with regulations in Circular No. 54/2017-BYT, Circular No. 46/2018-BYT and Circular No. 13/2025/TT-BYT, all related to guidelines for electronic medical records deployment. Currently, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital has completed its system and infrastructure and will implement electronic medical records deployment on June 16, 2025. Based on the training content, departments, offices and centers will continue to conduct direct hands-on practice on the system to ensure readiness for synchronized electronic medical records operation in the coming time.

Senior Doctor Dong Quang Son, Deputy Director of the Hospital, speaking at the training program
It is expected that by the end of June 2025, the hospital will pass through the Professional Council's evaluation of the use and storage of electronic medical records to replace paper medical records.
