Announcement of entrance exam results and admission threshold scores for Grade 10 in Thai Nguyen for 2025–2026 school year

On the morning of June 16, the Department of Education and Training of Thai Nguyen province officially announced the results and admission threshold scores for Grade 10 enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year.

Accordingly, the lists of exam scores and admission threshold scores for Grade 10 at public high schools have been publicly released, accompanied by a detailed appendix. Schools are responsible for promptly and fully informing students and parents of the admission results.

For candidates who wish to request a re-evaluation of their exam papers, the high schools where they registered their first-choice applications will receive the requests and provide guidance in accordance with regulations. The deadline for receiving and submitting the list of re-evaluation requests to the Department of Education and Training is no later than June 26, 2025. Applications must be fully updated in the exam management system and certified by the schools.

The Department of Education and Training also requires schools to promptly return applications and academic transcripts to candidates who were not admitted. For schools with available slots for second-choice applicants, they must complete the application intake process by June 19, 2025 and submit them to the Department for approval on June 20, 2025.

Regarding the admission threshold scores for Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted, the highest score is for the Chinese language major with 57.50 points, followed by English (56.55 points) and French (54 points).

For general public high schools, admission threshold scores range from 9.0 to 23.5 points. The school with the highest admission threshold score is Luong Ngoc Quyen High School (23.5 points), followed by Chu Van An High School (22.25 points) and Gang Thep High School and Thai Nguyen High School (both at 19.75 points). Some schools with lower admission threshold scores include Tran Phu High School (9.0 points), Hoang Quoc Viet High School (10.25 points) and Yen Ninh High School (10.5 points).

Notably, many schools apply additional criteria in the admission process. According to regulations, candidates whose total scores equal the admission threshold scores will only be officially admitted if they meet all the supplementary conditions and are listed on the official admission list.

The Department of Education and Training requires the principals of high schools to strictly implement the contents of the notice to ensure the interests of candidates, comply with regulations and meet the enrollment timeline for 2025 - 2026 school year.
