Overview of the Session
The meeting was attended by the following comrades: Do Duc Cong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Duong Van Tien, Member of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Thi Thuy Nga, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting discussed and commented on the draft reports, proposals and resolutions, including: the Monitoring Report on handling feedback and recommendations from constituents before and after the Thirteenth Session, and opinions and recommendations in Resolution No. 25/NQ-HDND dated July 20, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council; compiling opinions and recommendations from constituents for the Sixteenth Session of the Provincial People's Council; the Report on monitoring the State management of environmental protection within the province from 2020 to 2022; the establishment of a specialized Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial People's Council regarding the implementation of the mid-term public investment plan from 2021 to 2025; the results of carrying out tasks by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, People’s Council Committees, and the Provincial People's Council Office since the 34th session; the assessment report and operational outcomes of the Provincial People’s Council Committees; the report on the Provincial People's Council's activities in 2023 and key tasks for 2024; and the schedule for organizing regular sessions of the Provincial People's Council in 2024...

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized a number of requirements to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the operation of elected agencies, especially supervision activities. Accordingly, reports on monitoring results must be comprehensive and rigorous, serving as a basis for making proposals to relevant authorities, informing and reporting widely to voters and the People.
