The ceremony was attended by comrades: Bui Thi Hoa, Secretary of the Party Designated Representation, President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society; Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society; representatives of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the Red Cross Societies of some provinces; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of departments, committees, branches, socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations, districts and cities in the province.
After 50 years of construction and development, the entire province now has 231 Red Cross branches at the commune and equivalent levels, along with 2,867 Red Cross units comprising 76,600 members. There are also 156 volunteer teams with over 5,000 volunteers and 159,000 Red Cross youth members. From 2018 to the present, over 530,000 people in the entire province have received assistance worth over VND 240 billion. In addition, Red Cross branches at various levels have assisted over 68,000 individuals affected by natural disasters, amounting to VND 20 billion. They have also mobilized and received over 136,000 units of blood valued at over VND 30 billion. Many movements and campaigns initiated by Red Cross branches at different levels have been implemented, reaching urban and rural areas, remote and far-flung regions, and ethnic minority communities. The images, colors, and uniforms of the "Red Cross Soldiers" and dedicated volunteers have become familiar and close to the people and the community, providing a reliable support system for those in need and contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council sent his congratulations to all officials, members, volunteers and youth of the provincial Red Cross Society. At the same time, he emphasized that the Red Cross Society of the province should continue to fully and deeply understand its position and role in humanitarian and charitable activities. It should effectively play its core role and serve as a bridge in humanitarian and charitable activities, helping the impoverished and vulnerable individuals overcome difficulties in life, escape poverty, and attain well-deserved prosperity. Additionally, he called for the Red Cross branches at all levels to continue to coordinate and effectively implement social security policies, and to well implement the " Tet of Kindness" movement, the campaign "Each organization, each individual associated with a humanitarian address".

On this occasion, Comrade Le Ngoc Due, former Chairman of the provincial Red Cross Association was honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal. The provincial Red Cross Society presented Certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals with many achievements in humanitarian and charity work.
