Prior to this, to serve the needs of sightseeing, experiencing, and celebrating the Lunar New Year holiday, tourist destinations in the province proactively devised and implemented plans for activities catering to tourists. They emphasized enhancing infrastructure, diversifying tourism products, decorating landscapes, and promoting activities during the holiday season. Additionally, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism actively collaborated with relevant authorities, sectors, and localities hosting festivals to enhance preparations for the festivities, ensuring the preservation of cultural traditions and meeting the spiritual needs of the people. They also resolutely prevented negative phenomena and the exploitation of festivals for personal gain.

As the gateway to Hanoi Capital, Thai Nguyen province boasts a convenient transportation system, a cool and fresh climate, beautiful natural landscapes, and a convergence of numerous valuable cultural and historical heritages, enabling the development of various attractive tourism forms to meet the demands of tourists. Thai Nguyen province has over 1,000 surveyed relics, including 1 nationally special-ranked relic with 13 points, 57 nationally ranked relics, 232 provincially ranked relics, and 550 intangible cultural heritages, including 19 nationally ranked intangible cultural heritages. Currently, there are 11 tourist areas and spots in the province that have been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee, and most of these spots are developed in an ecological and community-oriented direction, leveraging the advantages of natural landscapes and traditional cultural values.
