The opening ceremony was attended by Comrade Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Pham Van Tho, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of localities inside and outside the province; representatives of departments, branches, units and a large number of local people.

Featured cultural performance program imbued with regional cultural identity

Reversing the tide of history, in the spring of 1937, in Cao Lam hamlet, Phu Thuong commune, the first Party organization of Vo Nhai district was established, consisting of three comrades: Chu Van Tan, Luc Van Du and Nong Van Can. The birth of the Party organization marked a new step in the struggle movement of the people of various ethnic groups in Vo Nhai district. 87 years have passed, from the initial three Party members, the Party Committee of Vo Nhai district has continuously grown and matured in all aspects, fulfilling its leadership role in achieving the local socio-economic development targets.

Delegates and a large number of local people attended the Opening of the Festival

The "Vo Nhai – The place of origin" festival was first organized in 2013 and has become an annual festival of Vo Nhai district. This year's festival takes place over 2 days (March 15 and 16) with many distinctive activities such as cultural camps, regional culinary exchanges, and exhibitions of local OCOP products. Additionally, the festival features various folk games like tug-of-war, blindfolded duck catching, stilts walking, and archery. Particularly, during the opening ceremony, there was a remarkable artistic program showcasing the rich cultural identity of the ethnic groups in the area.

The festival attracts thousands of tourists from both within and outside the province. It not only enhances the historical, revolutionary, cultural, and traditional values of the local ethnic communities but also awakens the inherent tourism potential of the land and people of Vo Nhai, making contribution to attracting tourists to Vo Nhai in particular and Thai Nguyen in general.
