1.  Investment

- Investment capital in the area:

      In 2020, although large-scale foreign investment projects in the area have been basically completed and put into production, the investment capital of the foreign-invested economic sector in 2020 decreased by 4.3% compared to the same period, but the implementation of investment capital in the locality of the domestic capital sector increased by 4.9% compared to the same period, so the total investment capital in the area in 2020 increased compared to the same period.

     Total realized investment capital in the area in 2020 at current prices was estimated at 41.3 trillion VND, increased by 2.2% compared to 2019, equaling to 35.5% of GRDP; including: investment capital of the domestic economic sector was estimated at 29.7 trillion VND, increased by  4.9% and accounting for nearly 72% of the total investment capital in the area (state capital 7.7 trillion VND), accounting for 18.7% of total capital; non-state sector nearly 22 trillion VND, accounting for 53.2%); the rest of the foreign-invested sector was estimated at 11.6 trillion VND (accounting for 28.1% of the total investment in the area), decreased by 4.3% compared to the same period.

- Foreign direct investment situation:

      In 2020, there were 20 newly licensed projects in the province with a registered capital of 365.9 million USD, equivalent to the same period in the number of projects and decreased by 2.12 million USD in registered capital compared to 2019. In general, the total number of foreign direct investment projects licensed and valid by the end of 2020 was 162 projects with a registered capital of 8.415.4 million USD and implemented capital of 7.806 million USD; in which, Korean investors had 112 projects; Hong Kong had 12 projects and China has 11 projects...), decreased by 4.3% compared to the same period.

2. Construction

     Construction production value in 2020 at 2010 constant prices in the province reached nearly 16 trillion VND, increased by 10.5% compared to 2019, of which construction units with domestic capital made 14.9 trillion VND, increased by 8.5% compared to the same period.
