The provincial Electronic Information Portal introduces some of the renowned spiritual, historical and heritage tourism sites of Thai Nguyen:

Duom Temple located at the foot of Duom Mountain, Dong Dat Commune, Phu Luong District. The temple honors Duong Tu Minh - chief of Phu Luong Province, who was twice the king's son-in-law during the Ly Dynasty and was instrumental in protecting the northern frontier of Dai Viet in the 12th century. Muc Temple in Tien Phong Ward, Pho Yen City - This temple is dedicated to King Ly Nam De, the first emperor of the Vietnamese people. In 2014, Muc Temple and Huong Ap Pagoda were recognized as national historical sites by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Currently, the restoration project for Muc Temple is underway. Doi Can Temple Memorial within the Memorial Park of Heroic Martyrs of Thai Nguyen Province, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Thai Nguyen City. The temple is dedicated to Doi Can, leader of the Thai Nguyen Uprising and his soldiers.
