CONTEXT AND NECESSITY

THE NORTHERN MIDLANDS AND MOUNTAINOUS REGION

Lack of breakthrough growth due to insufficient transportation infrastructure

Current Status: Fragmented terrain, underdeveloped transportation networks and high logistics costs.

 

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Connect key expressway routes, establishing an East-West trade corridor with China and Laos.

Develop a border-gate economic corridor to boost industry, logistics and agricultural trade.

Reduce travel distance from Thai Nguyen to China to 110 km (~1.5 hours of travel time).

Terminal Point: Phuong Giao (adjacent to Lang Son)
