2025 Thai Nguyen Tien Phong Cross-Country and Mass Running Event concludes with resounding success

Teams received commemorative flags at the Kick-off Ceremony
Held annually, this year’s event attracted nearly 5,000 athletes, coaches and participants from 53 units across the province. Among them, there were 452 cross-country runners, over 837 mass runners, 500 members of the Health Exercise Club, more than 200 officials from the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, 2,000 students from Thai Nguyen City, youth union members, a motorcycle parade group and a large crowd of cheering spectators.
The competition comprised 12 categories, including: Mass Running Event: Three team-based races over 200 meters: Group 1: Secondary school teams; Group 2: High school teams; Group 3: Teams from universities, colleges, vocational schools, armed forces, agencies and local sports clubs. Tien Phong Cross-Country Race: Individual and team competitions in: Women’s Youth (3,500 m); Men’s Youth (5,000 m); Women’s Championship (5,000 m); Men’s Championship (8,000 m).
After an exciting and spirited competition, awards were presented not only to individual and team winners but also to the top-performing teams.
