On May 21, the Department of Education and Training held a Commendation Ceremony to honor students who won prizes and teachers who won prizes and for teachers whose students achieved high results in the National Excellent High School Student Contest, the National Science and Technology Research Competition for 2024–2025 school year and the 7th National Startup Ideas Contest for Students 2025.

Recently, at the Cultural Museum of Vietnam Ethnic Minority Groups, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts organized the art photography exhibition titled “Through Time” by Photographer Do Anh Tuan. Through 50 works selected from thousands of photographs taken over four decades by Photographer Do Anh Tuan, this exhibition is not only the artist's tribute to life, but also a source of inspiration about his love for homeland, people and the art of photography.

On April 30, Ho Chi Minh City will solemnly organize a national-level military parade and procession to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The official ceremony will begin at 6:30 AM on April 30, simultaneously with the National Commemoration Ceremony.

These days, along with the entire country, millions of Thai Nguyen people's hearts are turning toward the South - where the historic victory of April 30 is marked, completely liberating the South and unifying the country. Throughout all localities, many schools are radiant with red as teachers and students collectively wear national flag shirts, participate in synchronized performances, sing the national anthem and perform folk dances, creating a vibrant, sacred and proud atmosphere. All these are practical actions expressing the affection, gratitude and pride of Thai Nguyen people for the glorious past of the nation.

Taking place from April 22 to April 27 at Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area, the Traditional Boat Racing Championship - National Excellence Stand-Up Paddle Championship 2025 featured the participation of 16 clubs from 11 provinces and cities nationwide, with nearly 600 coaches and athletes competing in 2 events: Traditional boat racing and stand-up paddleboarding.

On the morning of April 26, the Thai Nguyen Province Occupational Safety and Health Council, in collaboration with the Provincial Labor Confederation, organized the Launching Ceremony in response to the 2025 Action Month for Occupational Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month.

On the morning of April 25, at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space (Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen City), Thai Nguyen Province Museum held the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition "Thai Nguyen - Wartime Memories". The exhibition will take place from April 25 to May 25, 2025 and is presented with 3 main thematic groups: "Thai Nguyen - Imprints of 9 Years of Protracted Resistance", "Thai Nguyen - Solid Rear Base for the Beloved South" and "Thai Nguyen Today".

Ho Chi Minh City these days has donned a new appearance, more resplendent and vibrant than ever as the entire City joyfully anticipates the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The central thoroughfares are beautifully decorated with brilliant red flags with yellow stars, evoking the heroic spirit of years past. City residents, from older generations to today's youth, all carry deep pride and eagerly await this momentous event.

The "Open STEAM Day" event took place at Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology on the morning of April 13, with more than 600 students from high schools in the province. The students took part in interactive activities designed to foster inspiration, community building and knowledge sharing within the STEAM community.

The 2025 Fight Night event organized by Song Cong City People's Committee in collaboration with Song Cong City Traditional Martial Arts Club was a large-scale, professional cultural activity. The event brought together outstanding fighters with extensive experience as well as promising young fighters from clubs across Thai Nguyen province. The fighters performed impressive matches, competing in physical strength while demonstrating their confidence, skill and noble competitive spirit.

LANG SON – THAI NGUYEN EXPRESSWAY: A CATALYST FOR REGIONAL CONNECTIVITY AND BORDER GATE ECONOMY Lang Son – Thai Nguyen Expressway project not only shortens geographical distances but also unlocks opportunities for regional economic development, enhancing trade with China and the Northern Midlands and Mountainous provinces. Early implementation will serve as a strong growth driver, propelling the area to become a key national logistics and industrial hub.

On March 23, the 2025 Thai Nguyen Tien Phong Cross-Country and Mass Running Event took place in Thai Nguyen City, featuring a series of competitive races.

The 2025 "Spring Tea Flavors - Tan Cuong Special Tea Region" Festival in Thai Nguyen City officially opened on the evening of February 8 at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space in Thai Nguyen City. This annual festival honors the tea plant and the traditional tea cultivation profession while creating opportunities to boost production, improve quality and value and promote the potential and strengths of Tan Cuong's specialty tea and community-based tourism to both domestic and international visitors.

On December 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province coordinated with Vietnam Railways and relevant agencies and units to conduct a pilot operation of a tourist train from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen. The trial aimed to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the service to refine the concept and propose railway transportation development linked with tea culture promotion and tourism development in Thai Nguyen.

Pu Don Hill Historical Site (also known as Phong Tuong Hill), located in Tin Keo hamlet, Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, is where President Ho Chi Minh presided over the first ceremony awarding the rank of General to comrade Vo Nguyen Giap, Commander-in-Chief of the Vietnam National Army and Militia, on May 28, 1948. This event not only marked a significant milestone in the development of the Vietnam People's Army but also demonstrated the absolute trust of the Party, the State and President Ho Chi Minh in General Vo Nguyen Giap. From this pivotal moment, General Vo Nguyen Giap led our army to achieve glorious victories, securing independence and freedom for the nation. On February 19, 2024, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, in coordination with Military Region 1, commenced the restoration and renovation project for the Pu Don Hill Historical Site, with a total investment of nearly VND 43 billion sourced from the Ministry of National Defense’s budget. After nearly 10 months of expedited construction, the project has been completed, giving the site a new look. It is poised to become a significant cultural and historical landmark, attracting visitors from both within and outside the province while serving as an educational site to promote revolutionary traditions among future generations. From November 27 to December 1, the Northeast Regional Industry and Trade Fair - Thai Nguyen 2024 and the Promotion and Sales Connectivity Program for Phu Binh Hill Chickens and Thai Nguyen Agricultural Products 2024 held at the Central Square of Phu Binh district took place with many activities attracting a large number of participants.

On the morning of October 30, at Dong Lien Secondary School (Thai Nguyen City), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Committee of Thai Nguyen Province Youth Union held the Launching Ceremony of the Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025. This is an activity to celebrate the success of the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Nguyen Province for 2024 - 2029 term and respond to "I love my Country" movement.

In Thai Nguyen province, there are over 1,000 registered historic and cultural sites; over 550 intangible cultural heritages, which are places of great historical, cultural and tourism value. With the development orientation of 4 main tourism products: cultural, spiritual, historical and roots tourism; eco-tourism and resort; community-based and rural tourism associated with tea culture; and MICE, sports and adventure cave tourism, in recent years, with the attention of the province, historical sites in the province have been gradually restored and embellished to preserve and promote the value of the sites, where the people and tourists from inside and outside the province can visit, offer incense and commemorate. Among them, cultural, spiritual, historical and ancestral tourism is increasingly being chosen by many tourists to explore and experience the cultural, belief and spiritual features of new regions, opening up opportunities to diversify tourism products for Thai Nguyen tourism.

For generations, tea trees have been nurtured by mother earth, carefully tended through sun and dew by farmers - the trees flourish for the people, enriching the land and bringing happiness. Tea trees have not only become a source of wealth for the people of Thai Nguyen but has also woven itself into the breathtaking natural scenery that enchants all who visit.

Thai Nguyen Stadium project is one of the province's key projects, with a total investment of over VND 535 billion and covering an area of more than 15 hectares. The stadium is designed to accommodate 22,000 seats with roof coverage. This international-standard stadium features a surrounding pitch with 8 circular running tracks and 10 straight tracks. After nearly 2 years of construction, the project has reached nearly 80% completion and contractors are now entering the "sprint" phase to accelerate progress and complete the project according to schedule.
