| The Extended Bac Son Road Project spans nearly 10 km with a total investment of over VND 2,100 billion. The road is designed with 6 lanes and a cross-section width of 61 meters, serving to connect the center of Thai Nguyen City with the Nui Coc Lake Tourism Area. The project is invested by Xuan Truong Private Construction Enterprise as the investor under the public-private partnership (PPP) model. |
After receiving approval from the Prime Minister in Document No. 152/TB-VPCP dated April 3, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee directed Thai Nguyen City People's Committee to coordinate with the investor to implement conditions for restarting the Project. Currently, the investor has mobilized vehicles, machinery, equipment and personnel for construction deployment, striving to put the road into use in 2025.
The Extended Bac Son Road Project has been restarted for remaining items, striving for completion in 2025
The completion of the Extended Bac Son Road Project will help resolve obstacles that have persisted for many years; simultaneously opening opportunities to attract investment and develop technical infrastructure systems, thereby completing a modern, synchronized and sustainable urban space for Thai Nguyen City in the near future, contributing to realizing the double-digit growth target that Thai Nguyen has set for 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan highly appreciated the activities of the Special Working Group for inspecting and urging the progress of the Extended Bac Son Road Project implementation. She requested that Working Group members continue to coordinate in accelerating the progress of compensation for site clearance and resettlement support; implement investment, land, construction, payment and project settlement procedures according to regulations; receive information, feedback, progress reports and proposals and suggestions from investors, ensuring timely resolution of arising difficulties and obstacles, accelerating project implementation progress in the spirit of " resolute determination, regardless of weather conditions", with determination to achieve the set objectives.
