Inspection of compliance with occupational safety and health laws at But Son HP Concrete Joint Stock Company

But Son HP Concrete Joint Stock Company is currently engaging in the field of ready-mixed concrete production. It has a total of 50 employees, including 7 female employees and 43 male employees.

Through the inspection, the Delegation found that the Company had fully implemented the signing of employment contracts as prescribed by the law and paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions for the employees. Salary was paid on time as agreed in the contract; the salary was guaranteed not to be lower than the regional minimum salary. The Company developed a salary scale, payslip, and labor norms in accordance with the legal regulations.

However, some shortcomings were presented such as: The labor regulations of the Company have not been registered with the State labor management agency; no periodic OSG training were not organized for the employees; labor management records were incomplete; work process tracking books were not prepared; no incident response plans and fire prevention and fighting plans were developed as prescribed by the law; no periodic health check-ups were provided for the employees in 2024.

The inspection team requested the Company to promptly take remedial actions to address these issues, especially completing legal documents on labor, organizing OSH training and periodic health check-ups for the employees. Also, the inspection team also propagates and guides the Company to continue to strictly implement the provisions of labor code, ensure the legitimate rights and interests of employees, and contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the Company.
