Overview of the working session
Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park project covers 295.34 hectares across two communes, Nga My and Diem Thuy (Phu Binh district) and is expected to require land acquisition from approximately 1,328 households, of which about 650 households will need resettlement. Recently, Phu Binh district has collaborated with relevant units to conduct land, property and grave inventories; publicly announced partial compensation plans; and proceeded with payments to some households. Simultaneously, the local authority is developing three resettlement areas to accommodate residents and has proposed an additional 35-hectare resettlement area to meet actual needs.
Currently, the project's legal procedures are being urgently completed. Land clearance is being implemented in a rolling manner, gradually creating favorable conditions for commencing the construction of technical infrastructure components.

At the meeting, BMK Group Joint Stock Company requested the Provincial People's Committee to consider and approve the investment policy for several technical infrastructure components serving transportation connectivity and drainage for Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park. The company also asked relevant departments, agencies and local authorities to coordinate in accelerating compensation, land clearance and completion of preparations for the project's groundbreaking.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the investor, Phu Binh district and related units in implementing the project. She emphasized that Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park is a key project with an important role in promoting industrial development, creating jobs and increasing local budget revenue. Therefore, closer, more responsible and more decisive coordination between various levels and sectors is needed in fulfilling assigned tasks. She requested Phu Binh district to focus intensively on compensation and land clearance, implementing resettlement areas in a synchronized manner, ensuring cleared land for the construction of main components. Relevant departments and agencies should closely coordinate in reviewing and studying the investor's technical infrastructure proposals, promptly updating them into planning documents and advising the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision-making, creating conditions for the project to break ground and proceed on schedule, contributing to investment attraction, socio-economic development and increasing local budget revenue.
