Two Thai Nguyen cooperatives voted "CoopStar Awards 2025"

The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has just announced the voting results of CoopStar Awards 2025. There are 2 voted cooperatives in Thai Nguyen province including: Son Dung Tea Cooperative, Quang Trung Ward, Thai Nguyen City and Viet Cuong Vermicelli Cooperative, Hoa Thuong Town, Dong Hy District. These are 2 typical cooperatives with effective production and business activities, creating stable jobs and income for members and employees.

Son Dung Tea Cooperative creates stable jobs for 30 local workers

Son Dung Tea Cooperative currently has 14 official members and nearly 50 affiliated households in communes in Tan Cuong specialty tea region. Each household not only supplies tea raw materials but also participates in the production and processing stages, ensuring that every step adheres to VietGAP standards. This results in high-quality, safe tea products for consumers. This collaboration not only brings economic benefits to members but also fosters a united community where individuals share experiences, support each other and promote sustainable development. Tra Son Dung Cooperative also places special emphasis on supporting disadvantaged households, providing them opportunities to engage in production activities, thereby contributing to poverty alleviation and improving the living standards of the local community.

Manufacturing of products of Viet Cuong Vermicelli Cooperative

Viet Cuong Vermicelli Cooperative was established in 2007 with 50 members and over 30 regular workers. With the application of science and technology to production, the cooperative has launched many products that are popular with consumers such as: Black garlic vermicelli, sweet potato vermicelli, cassava vermicelli. The cooperative's products have been present in major supermarket systems nationwide such as: Go, AEON, LOTTE, MEGA, BigC, COOP MART, INTIMEX, May 10 and have been exported to foreign countries such as Taiwan, Laos... Black garlic vermicelli of the cooperative is one of the few products that have achieved 5-star OCOP in Thai Nguyen province.

The CoopStar Awards 2025 will be awarded by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance to 100 typical cooperatives nationwide. The award is organized to honor humanitarian cooperative models, for the progress of society. At the same time, it also honors self-reliance, resilience, diligent labor, creativity and perseverance of the cooperative community in advancing the collective economy, thereby creating a strong spread of the typical cooperative model with a new determination to contribute to the realization of the Party's resolutions and the State's policies, arousing the aspiration of cooperatives to contribute to building a prosperous and happy country.
